"Using one word: WOW!!!" I just returned yesterday from Budapest after staying there for about 24 hours (Waiting for a connection flight). About a month before the trip, I used TripAdvisor to pick up hotels for the entire trip and after reading the reviews for the City Panzio Ring, decided to pick it. I arrived at the hotel with 2 buddies to a pre reserved Triple Room. The staff was very helpful (One of us lost his baggage during the flight to budapest and the Receptionist made calls to the airline for us to query them about for updates). The rooms were very big, very clean and very comfortable. Since we had to check out early in the morning, thus missing the breakfast, the hotel staff prepared for each of us a small plastic bag with breakfast (some fruit, some sandwiches and a carton of juice) - We didn't even ask for it and they did it --> That's what I call service. The location is very good - It's a walking distance from Hosok Ter, the parliament and Vaci Utca. This will probably be my hotel again on my next trip to Budapest.

"Excellent value" I stayed here with a friend from Dec 27 through Jan 2, to celebrate the New Year in Budapest with some local friends. It was a very nice tourist class hotel with a decent breakfast buffet in the morning (although the coffee was a little on the bitter side). . . The location is reasonably central to the city, with Metro access on the next block, or tram access two blocks over. . . This location is also situated near an excellent coffeehouse that I always hit when I am in the city (Cafe Europa) and is close to a few great spots for meals. . . The rooms themselves were very clean and generally quiet with decent furnishings. . .
