Excellent stay!
I have stayed twice at the City Inn Westminster just because I like London and I can truly recommend the City Inn Westminster Hotel. It is a perfect choice. The most amazing side is the location the hotel offers; 10 minute walk to Parliament buildings and Trafalgar Square, 15 minutes walk to Buckingham Palace. The room facilities are also great. Everything is clean and modern, with a powerful shower in bathroom. Excellent stay! |

"Very good value for such a well equipped hotel"
I have stayed at this hotel several times and I thought that it was about time I gave a review. Firstly hotels in London are expensive, once you have accepted that then you will begin to appreciate this hotel. It is clean, it is stylish, the staff are very helpful, one even helped me by paying my congestion charge for me on line. It is very well equipped and to cap it all off the biscuits are lovely and internet access is free! The breakfast is good if it is included in the room rate but I agree with other reviewers that at almost £20 is a quite steep. It does get busy there in the morning and the service can be a little slow.
If you want unadulterated luxury this is not it, if you want chintz and thick carpets again this is not it. But if you want a good value, modern, well equipped, centrally located hotel you would not go far wrong to stay here.

"Great location, great hotel!"
I stayed here for two nights on 28th - 29th, i was very inpressed by the quality of the hotel in all departments when compared tot he price. The hotel is a very short walk to the Thames, Houses of Parliament, London Eye, etc. The rooms are of a good size with a lovely shower, sadly no bath though. The facilities in the room are also brilliant, and the bed is pure comfort. The staff were friendly and efficient. Although breakfast was included in my 100pounds per night room i decided to lay in instead! I would definitely recommend this hotel and i have no issues with it whatsoever.

"Fantastic"
What more can i say, from the moment we got there the hotel let us book in early and gave us a river view, the rooms were small but clean and very modern.
We were on the spring offer and the 3 course meal we had was fantastic, the breakfast was also included and was very varied. The bar was very funky and the cocktails were a dream and the free nibbles were great, i must say that the staff were very friendly and looked after your every need and were always up for a chat, i will return to this hotel later this year

"Enjoyed our stay"
Have just returned from a weekend break at City Inn. We booked early and got an excellent rate that included breakfast. Our room was modern, clean and comfortable. Everything we needed during our stay was readily available.
Breakfast on Saturday was good and we were seated quickly. Sunday was busy and the staff were clearly stretched. Our special order of fried egg from the kitchen only arrived after our third request. A second cafetierre of coffee failed to arrive at all.
Having said that the buffet choice was very good and the staff were friendly throughout the stay.
Would I stay again - at the price we got, without a doubt!

"A great hotel but kind of hard to find!"
This is a fantastic room with very spacious and comfortable accomodations! Very modern too! The location is kind of far from most of the attractions but if you're out for a good walk or you don't mind taking a cab or the Underground then this is an absolutely fantastic hotel to be in while you stay in London!
Best of all, Internet access and printing is absolutely free of charge so if you're a business traveler this is a good heads up! Service and staff were great.

"Great base for London trip"
We really enjoyed our stay here. The staff were very helpful and efficient. For North Americans, the room is smaller than you may be used to, but it was clean, quiet, and complete. As is the trend in the UK lately, the serving staff spoke fluent Polish but had some difficulty in English; nonetheless, we were very well looked after. The City Inn Cafe is one of the best restaurants in London, in my opinion, but there are a few pubs and coffee shops in the vicinity for variety. We walked to theatres in the Victoria Station area in 25 minutes, in Convent Garden in 30 and to shopping in Bond Street in 40. Walked to the Eurostar terminal at Waterloo Station in 20 minutes. For sightseeing, Westminster Abbey is a 15 minute stroll, Trafalgar Square in 25 minutes. For business travellers, especially on government business, the hotel is across the street from DEFRA, around the corner from Home Office, and within a few blocks of many other government headquarters.
