LOCATION
City Partner Hotel Victoria is situated in Zizkov district of Prague, approximately near Wenceslas Square and Old Town Square. Only a short walking distance from the hotel is Zizkov Television Tower, providing a magnificent view of the city skyline. The area also features the Jewish Cemetery where the world-renowned novelist Franz Kafka is buried and a huge equestrian statue of Jan Zizka who was a Czech general lived during the 14th and 15th centuries.
It takes approximately 7 minutes to reach Wenceslas Square by tram. This square is the commercial centre of the New Town with numerous entertainment, dining and shopping options. The Prague National Museum and the Prague State Opera are located here as well.
The Old Town Square is surrounded by wonderful buildings such as the Church of Our Lady in front of Tyn, the St. Nicholas Church and the Old Town Hall and Tower. The famous Astronomical Clock is mounted on the wall of the Old Town Hall while a statue of Jan Hus stands in the middle of the square.
The nearest public transportation link is Husinecka tram station. The Prague Main Railway Station is also in walking distance. As you arrive at the Prague Ruzyne Airport, you can take bus and transfer to tram to reach City Partner Hotel Victoria.

"First time to Prague"
We stayed in the Hotel Victoria for 3 nights at the beginning of November. The hotel was a very easy hotel to check in to (check in time was 2pm). The room we stayed in was much better than we expected. No tea or coffee making facilities, so take your own! There is a fridge provided to keep things like milk & drinks etc...
The restaurant next door, Kure V Hodinkach, is a excellent place to eat & is excellent value for money. A meal for 4 of us with lots of alcohol came to no more than1.500kc.
You should definitely buy a 3 day tram pass at the hotel to get access around the city. No.9 tram outside the hotel will get you to Wenceslas Square in 3 stops. If you want to venture out you should definitely look at the tram system prior to arriving. We didn't see one tram network plan when we were out in Prague. Watch you wallets and handbags on the trams...!!!! We saw an english guy have his wallet stolen on our first day.
Staff at the hotel are very friendly. Smiling will alaways help! If you need directions ask the staff. They have made up cards to the main attractions.

"Excellent value"
After reading the reviews for this hotel I was expecting to find it presentable but it surpassed my expectations - it was spotless, the rooms looked recently decorated in a modern style, bathroom was chic and the shower hot and powerful! Breakfast was good - a selection of cereal, breads, cheese and jams, yoghurts and tea, coffee and juice, excellent value for the £85 I paid for 4 nights.
Next door to the hotel was a restaurant which offered 5% discount for guests, which served great food at a good price in a lovely atmosphere.
We had to check out and stay in another hotel just for one night due to arriving a day late and the hotel being full. The new hotel was adequate but did not compare for it's location, presentation and value for money. I would definitely return to the Hotel Victoria again and can highly recommend it. |

Clean rooms, nice staff, good breakfast.(differnt kinds of bread, egg sausage, vegetables, youghurt, müsli, coffea, juice and )much more.
10-15 min by walking to the city center.
3 stops by tram.
Nice local neigbourhood.
We really enjoyed our 5 nights here
Can also recoomend Thai restaurant 'Tiger Tiger' at Anny Letenska 5, Prague 2, over the hill from hotel Victoria. They cook very authentic Thai food. Khapao gai is suberb.

"nice place"
helpful staff very clean,not far from centre ,20minute walk or 5minutes on tram run very regular. Afew bars near and very cheap. The restarant next door does great foodand great drink.If you want a nice hotel at a buget price go here,breakfast is boiled eggs different meats and cheeses cerials plenty of hot and cold drinks very good for price.Room cleaned every day clean towels and bedding we were only there three nights would use it again.
