LOCATION
Citywest Hotel is located in the suburban town of Saggart, the international championship course was designed by Christy O'Connor Junior and is recognised as one of Ireland's finest golf links. The venue played host to the Iveco Irish Masters Championships in 1994 and the Guardian Royal Open in 1996. On-site tuitition is available from the MacGregor Academy on the club's floodlit driving range.
Sitting low and dark on the edge of the River Liffey, Dublin is a marvelously contradictory place where the streets are virtually impossible to navigate in a car, but inexplicably easy to figure out on foot, the locals are more sophisticated than you might have expected, but can be small-town friendly too, and the city's tense history and rebellious nature, hidden by the inevitable accoutrements of modernity and affluence, appear when you least expect it.

"Perfect Location, High Quality Hotel"
Our Golfing society have booked our 5th annual outing at Citywest for July 06. During our previous 4 years at Citywest we have received fantastic customer service and all the staff have been extremely helpful and friendly. Considering a group of 20 men attend every year with nothing but praise for the resort, I find it very difficult to comprehend these other comments. The hotel is clean, offers a superb Thai Resturant and two excellent Golf courses which are on your doorstep. Ciara Egan at Citywest arranges our 3 day outing every year, to which she excels, every aspect of weekend down to the finest detail is organised perfectly. Well done to Ciara and all the hard working staff at Citywest. Customers are always very quick to complain, maybe they should learn to say thank-you as well. Belfast Golf Society.
