"filled our expectations of a basic"
Clarion Collection Hotel Mayfair, filled our expectations of a basic, no frills hotel in a convenient location when we were staying in Copenhagen only for one night. "Good experience"
My sister and I booked two rooms at this hotel and we were both well satisfied. The rooms are clean and a good size. My sister had a room at the end of the hall that had a spacious bathroom with a bathtub and shower. My room was next door and had a tiny bathroom and tiny shower. However, stepping into and out of a high bathtub can be harder than dealing with a tiny space. The hotel lobby has one computer with free Internet access, and the lobby has three very comfortable lounge rooms, one of which has a bar. At all times of the day there is a pot of hot coffee in the lounge, and on two late afternoons there were also croissants. A full breakfast buffet is served in an attractive dining room. Monday through Thurday there is even a free light dinner buffet with soup, bread, and salads. The only downside to our stay was that the breakfast buffet was not included in the price of our room, which we had booked at a special rate through Expedia; the cost was 95 kroner per day, which offset the great deal but the buffet was still worth the price.

"Good value hotel"
The Comfort Mayfair was clean, quiet and comfortable if a little old fashioned. Staff were polite and efficient. My single room had a shower only but it worked well. Liquid soap only provided so take your own toiletries if you do not like this. Excellent electronic safe in the room, free internet access in the lobby. Free light buffet, Mon-Thurs evenings. Very good breakfast for under £10. On the edge of the Red Light district but caused no problems. Very close to the railway station and the Tivoli gardens.

"very nice cozy hotel"
I found the hotel very nice. The room was clean and quiet. The public space was charming and there was a nice free internet access in the lobby. The hotel offers a light buffet dinner instead of the normal free breakfast. Breakfast is an additonal charge of 95dkk. The dinner served as my dinner. The location is a 5 minute walk from the central station. It is on a street with i think 3 other hotels. It's quite convenient to the whole of copehagen with a short walk to the shopping street and nyhavn.

"Good Central Place To Stay"
I stayed at the hotel along with a large group of people all visiting Copenhagen for the Speedway Grand Prix event at the big Parken stadium in the city. The hotel is well positioned with only 3 min walk to Tivili Gardens and the central station, the information tourist centre is oppisite the station and in there they speak very good english to help and assist you with whats to see and do in the city. I stayed in a single room which wasnt overly spacious but i didnt really need any room being on my own, i almost found it quite cosy. You enter the room with a large cuboard in the front of you. To the right was the en suite consisting of shower, toilet and hand basin and then in a separate room was the main bedroom. In the main bedroom was a very large single bed or a small double, to side tables, a desk, large tv with satalite channels, tea and coffee facilities and trouser press. I would advise if you are making tea and coffee with milk to ask at reception for proper milk as the power cream they provide in the rooms in gastly! For breakfast it is served between 6.30 - 10.30 monday to friday and 7-10.30 on weekends. Its basic to say the least, continental style. Food includes cereal, youghurt, pastries, bread, cheese, ham, fruit and boiled eggs. Also fruit juice and tea and coffee are served. Its basic but quite ample. So if your looking for a good value, basic, centrally located hotel this may well be the one for you.
