Clarion Collection Hotel Packhuset is located centrally by the harbour. Follow signs towards Kalmar C. By the harbour you find the Baronen shopping center. The hotel is situated at the far end of the shopping center. Look for Clarion Collection Hotel sign.

"Great breakfast & tea hours!!"
The free afternoon snack was a greatly appreciated surprise. The food that was available was great with cheeses and bread. In the morning, the breakfast was splendid. The food was fresh and there were many things to choose from - each one great tasting. The location, on the waterfront, was nice even though there were a lot of harbour cranes and such in view. Living in San Francisco at the time, it reminded us of certain areas on the south waterfront with great food and interesting harbour views.
We greatly enjoyed the hospitality and are planning on staying there, again, on our next trip to Kalmar.
The downside: the room was not air conditioned. And, being Sweden, the windows did not have mosquito nets.
