"Classic Place Hotel was great value "
Classic Place Hotel was great value for how cheap it was and the breakfasts were great, with lots to choose from. The staff were always friendly and all spoke english.

Classic Place Hotel is only a 3 star facility and keeping that in mind there were no problems, the rooms were clean the service was good, we had no issues. There are restaurants and places to eat within walking distance and it is so close to the train station which is excellant.

"Excellent for the price"
We decided to stay here because of the price, we thought by saving $400 Aus on hotels we could use that towards so much in a country like Thailand. We read the reviews and were quite concerned about this hotel, so on arrival we asked for a very quiet room with a double bed, we actually got a suite with 2 TV's, Minibar, Ensuite, in room safe and a King size bed, the only downfall being it was a smokers room and had a heavy stench of tobacco and we are not smokers. We read on other reviews that there is no-where close to eat etc There is an excellent little restaurant called 'Duo' about a 2-4 Minute walk from the hotel, just turn left as you leave the hotel it serves excellent European and Thai food at a fabulous price (They are not open Sundays) The 7/11 is nearly opposite this as well. Do NOT use the taxi services directly out fromnt of the hotel they are a rip off, always use a metered taxi or the Subway which is only a 1 minute walk from the hotel, just turn Right when you leave the hotel. So we would recommend this hotel, and would stay here again. THANKYOU!!! (Beware of the liftit is a little scary though)

"Pleasantly surprised"
We were very aprehensive about this hotel before arriving in Bangkok due to the reviews, we were pleasantly surprised. This hotel is only a 3 star facility and keeping that in mind there were no problems, the rooms were clean the service was good, we had no issues. There are restaurants and places to eat within walking distance and it is so close to the train station which is excellant. We used public transport a lot, trains connect to sky trains so never a problem getting around. There is a great little massage place two minutes up the road from the hotel. We would recommend this hotel no problems as long as you keep in mind it is 3 stars and don't expect a luxury resort.

"A wonderful visit in Bangkok"
We visited Bangkok for the very 1st. time & stayed at Classic Place Hotel. It was a very nice, clean, & the staff was very friendly. A very reasonable place. It is close to the subway & shopping malls are nearby. "Classic Place" has a Japanese restaurant where we were given breakfast coupons for our entire stay. The restaurant has a variety of breakfast foods including- American, European, & Asian foods. There is a swimming pool with a mini bar & the hotel also has a gym too. A Tour Guide is located near the entrace. Tour packages are available along with an album to look through. Pretty reasonable deals. Give them a try if your ever in Bangkok.
