Fantastic stay
The Aculpulco Resort is a super hotel with the added benefit of having its very own 1km long private sandy beach. Sunbeds are free of charge and the hotel supply tokens that you can exchange for clean beach towels everyday which was really welcome. We were there in summer 2007 and you have the choice of eating your breakfast or evening meal on the terrace or inside. The buffet selection of foods is great and there is enough choice for even the most fussy eater! During the days you dont need to move from the Resort complex as there is a take away and fast food restaurant on the beach. There is a very small shop close to the hotels main entrance where you can get the basics. There are 2 outdoor swimming pools in the complex if you dont like to get sand between your toes. There is also an indoor pool. Evenings there is entertainment in the ampitheatre and there is a very nice area by the beach where you can have drinks. For nightlife you need to travel to Kyrenia. Just 15 minutes away by the hotels shuttle bus ( small fee ). Our guest room was large and comfortable. Would probably upgrade to a room with a view next time. I highly recommend this resort and we will be back this summer. Cant wait!
