* It may have been a whim of the owner, or simply the perennial inspiration of the yachts, fishing boats and gulets drifting past, but the nautical theme of the Hotel Barbarossa is undoubtedly appropriate.
Kas Hotel Club Barbarossa commands lovely views of the Mediterranean inlet that washes the length of the peninsula and carries its myriad fleet of vessels down to the harbour of Kas itself.
With the hotel itself named after a notorious seafarer, it was logical to continue the theme in the names of the rooms and suites. You can stay in Barbarossa, or Andria Doria, or perhaps Dragut, named after a Turkish Pirate whose success forced the Sultan to appoint him as an admiral.

PROPERTY AMENITIES

* Overlooking the pool is an expansive balustraded terrace and it is here that buffet breakfast and lunch are served. The view from the terrace is the best of all, the full peninsula panorama providing a glorious backdrop to the setting. Kas Hotel Barbarossa`s guests are delighted with the fabulous Turkish and international food served in this unique setting. A rich vegetarian cuisine awaits the discriminating diners. This is not, however, a destination for weight watchers. You could also choose to have your food or drinks by the Kas Hotel Barbarossa's Bar by the seaside, listening to the sound of the water. The seashore is lit a night. Fishes glowing in the night is a sight not to miss.
