The Bay of Fundy is one of the finest places on the eastern seaboard of North America for whale watching, due to its massive tidal action promoting the availability of plankton and krill for the whale's feeding. The Bay is the summer home for a multitude of marine mammal species, including: seals, dolphin, Finback whales, Humpback whales, Pilot whales, and Minke whales.

The Digby Golf Club at The Pines is the finest 18-hole championship courses in Atlantic Canada. The course was designed the world renowned Stanley Thompson and offers a magnificent panoramic view of the sea.
