Arriving at Termini Station by train from other cities or by shuttle service from either of Rome's airports guests can walk to the Colosseum Hotel in about 10 minutes. The hotel is halfway between the metro stations of Cavour and Termini. Public buses can be found on the nearby Via Cavour or in front of Termini.

The Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore is 5 minutes walk from the hotel entrance and walking down the Via Cavour guests will arrive at the Colosseum, the Roman Forum and Piazza Venezia. Once in Piazza Venezia it is easy to walk to other famous sights in the Eternal City such as the Trevi Fountain, Piazza Navona, the Pantheon and the shopping areas of the Via del Corso and Spanish Steps.
