A fantastic honeymoon
We are currently at the Columbus on our honeymoon. I was checking wedding pictures, so I thought I would give a little review. We LOVE it here. The hotel is fantastic. We were upgraded to a Jr. Suite. The location is a away from Monte Carlo, but it is perfect for us. It is so close by and so easy to get there. We are loving the quieter atmosphere where we are. It is very enjoyable. The pool is great. THe room is so comfortable, and the toiletries are amazing.
I am so glad we picked Columbus!!
The conceirage service must be one of the best in Monaco. We are pretty laid back people and this hotel really suits our style!! |

fab place
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the staff were fantastic. The Hotel was one of the best value for money in our entire 6 wk trip around Europe. Great room - nice & modern hotel. We flew to Paris only to find we had left money etc behind in the safe at the Columbus - the Columbus sorted it all & sent it overnight to our hotel in Paris. We would love to visit Monaco and stay at the Columbus on our next trip. |

Amazing hotel!!
This has been the best hotel i have ever stayed in. I was on the fourth floor with views over the gardens and also of the sea. The rooms (even the basic ones) were massive!
We had a bigger than king size bed, and the room itself must have been about four king size beds wide!!!
The balcony was a really good size too and as i have said the views were brilliant!
The bathroom was immaculate and a good size but everything about the whole room was so classy from the pictures on the wall to the decoration in the bathrooms.
The breakfast was like no other...there was a wide range of fruit as well as cereal and bacon eggs etc and it looks and tastes to die for!
As soon as you walk into the Hotel you are greeted with modern trendy decor which oozes style and class. The hotel just topped off the brilliant stay i had in Monaco (where Porsches and Ferraris are on every road you go along!!!!!) |

"fab place"
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the staff were fantastic. The Hotel was one of the best value for money in our entire 6 wk trip around Europe. Great room - nice & modern hotel. The bar was expensive but it was one of the best G&T's I have ever had. We flew to Paris only to find we had left money etc behind in the safe at the Columbus - the Columbus sorted it all & sent it overnight to our hotel in Paris. We would love to visit Monaco and stay at the Columbus on our next trip.

"Fantastic Hotel"
My Husband and I spent 3 days at the Columbus in mid September 2005. We LOVED this hotel and I agree with others that I am surprised that this is a three star hotel as I would rate it at least as a four star hotel. This is the best hotel I have ever stayed at in Europe!! When we arrived we were upgraded from a deluxe room to a suite which was a welcome surprise for us. We had a Sea View room with a balcony. This was a very large room with a sitting area and very large bathroom. Great touches like fine soaps and big fluffy towels in the bathroom. When we returned each evening candles were lit and romantic music was playing. Very Cool.
We did stay on the opposite side of the hotel away from the construction so the noise was not a problem for us. I would highly recommend this hotel and when booking just request a room on the opposite side of the hotel away from the construction site.
Also, we flew into Nice and rented a car and drove to Monaco. I would not make that mistake again as having a car in Monaco is a pain and the hotel charged parking for a car we did not use the whole time we were there. Instead, take the helicopter from the Nice Airport to Monaco as the Heliport is across the street from the Columbus. Rent a car in Monaco before you leave to your next destination.
Again, I HIGHLY recommend this hotel!!

"Fabulous price and fantastic room with view"
By just looking at the picture, you know its going to be a fabulous hotel. Its actually one of famous hotel in Monaco eventhough 3 star. So many publications I've read come true says that this is exclusive hotel. Yes! I do agree this a great hotel and thats why maintain at 3 star property as it may not be able to compete the 5 star rating of service. But Hey, Monaco has one of most expensive hotel room in Europe, I got a good deal for my Stay in November through their own Global Distribution System reservation. Euro 175 per room per night comes with balcony, and partial moutain, and seaview.
