Experience @ Hotel Boreal Were are from South Africa. The Staff were absolutely great, nothing was too much of an effort for them. The Hotel is centrally situated in a very nice area of the City close to all places of interest. It was clean and neat, the 3rd floor was a challenge as we had to walk up to our room, however the exercise was good. Breakfast was a cold buffet and OK however you could eat as much as you liked. The room served it's purpose, as we were out the entire day, the space was managable. I would definetely recommend it. Regards Hayes 3.6

"Extremely friendly place" We are frequent travellers all over Europe and America and were well pleased with our choice of the comfort hotel Boreal. We travelled as a group of ten of all ages to celebrate my husbands 40th birthday 31st mar - 2nd apr. On our arrival four members of the party had to stay in the grand hotel Florence next door due to an unforseen illness of another guest at the Boreal.This was only for one of the two nights. Both hotels were absolutley fabulous for the money that we paid. It was roughly £60 for a night for a room. Cheap and cheerful was what we expected and cheap and cheerful was what we got. Small but immaculatly clean bathroom. Small but bright and airy bedrooms some on the front and some on the back but all with french doors opening on to a balcony of some sort. Staff were so helpful and friendly and seemed to work very hard at all hours. We went to Monaco on the train which is only a ten minute walk away and is well worth the trip for 6 euros. We ate at the restaurant next door to the Florence and had such a fabulous meal that we went there the next night.Staff were fabulous and allowed us to put balloons and banners up in the restaurant for hubbys birthday. Good value and huge portions for 18 euros for 3 courses and drinks. Would definitley return to both hotels in the future.They are both well placed to be out of the way of all the noise but close enough to walk to the sea front and the train station in the opposite direction. Well Done to all the Boreal to make our stay so wonderful.

"recommended" We (a family of 3) stayed here for 4 nights. We found the staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were absolutely fine - no frills but everything you need and very clean. Breakfast was self-service Continental - standard stuff but fresh and tasty. Location - couldn't be more central but amazingly quiet at night (we had a room at the back, but still it was hard to believe we were in a major city). An excellent choice - would use it again.
