Comfort Hotel Esplanaden is situated in front of the Churchill Park and near the Little Mermaid. Nyhavn and Kongens Nytorv are only ten minutes from the hotel on foot. It is in a centrally located position adjacent to the central station, which is the red light district of Copenhagen.
Comfort Hotel Esplanaden is a newly renovated hotel and was completely refurbished in 2001. All rooms are designed and decorated in a classical Scandinavian style (neutrally-decorated rooms are high-ceilinged and airy). The hotel has a service-minded staff, and in 2002 was awarded the Comfort Hotel of the Year by Choice Hotels Scandinavia. |

Comfort Hotel Esplanaden is located in the famous Frederiksstaden. This part of the city is a Copenhagen business center, which is worth a couple of days of sightseeing. "Great for a Romantic Weekend Away"
We stayed here in February and this hotel was lovely. The staff were great - friendly and check in was really efficient. My boyfriend had arranged with the staff for Champagne, danish pasties and a really lovely boquet of flowers to be in the room on arrival. The room was unique - a circular shaped room - the only bad point would be that it overlooked the car park and into some offices across the courtyard. The breakfasts were superb and on weeknights in the evenings there is a free 'supper' buffet where you can help yourself to much needed hot soup! The hotel is a short walk from the little mermaid and really handy for the trains that take you into the city and out to the Aquarium. Great hotel - would stay again!
