Hotel Ritter Milan
If you are looking for a very cheap hotel in the centre of Milan then this could be the hotel for you BUT only if you are willing to sacrifice some comfort. The hotel was quite cold (although it is probably fine in summer) Also there was no bath and the shower was freezing and did not look particularly clean. There was no bar as had been advertised on website so that was a disappointment and the "mini-bar" was just a fridge which was not even plugged in. The breakfast was very good for a buffet continental style and one of the receptionist was really helpful and friendly. However, the night porter invited us to join him for a drink of whisky and when we declined, he phoned our room and knocked on the door repeatedly throughout the night which we were not very pleased about and found quite intimidating and harassment. Don't feel like I can complain too much about the hotel itself because it did reflect the price but the behaviour of the night porter was wholly unacceptable - BEWARE!!!!

Our stay in Milan was marred by the weather which was far too hot for us pale-skinned English folk. Luckily, the air-conditioning in the room was superb, and there are vending machines with chilled bottled water on the floor outside the room. A good location for a quick stroll into the centre of Milan, as well. Excellent.
