"Can't Beat the Price"
The Comfort Inn Bayswater is conveniently located on a quiet residential street facing a park. It is only a short walk to the Bayswater Underground Station and close to Kensington Park. We got a great rate on the Comfort Inn website, 368.80 pounds for 6 nights. This included a free breakfast, which consisted of fruit, toast, rolls, cereals, juices, cheese and meat platter and coffee or tea.
Service was good and the hotel was very clean. Some of the rooms are very small, so I would suggest requesting a twin room with two single beds. When we checked in we were give a room with a double bed which was small and only had a shower. Since my reservation was for a twin I requested they switch us. Fortunately they had a twin available and that room was considerably bigger and also had a bath tub.
If we visit London again we would stay here again.

"Hotels for families"
This hotel was located in a very convenient location for traveling around London. The hotel was in prime location close to various restaurants, pubs, and two tube stations. The breakfast was also very good, fresh, and free. The breakfast staff was very hospitable. Whole surrounding was fabulous. Reception counter staff was very helpful & gave proper guidance to us. I recommend this hotel to families traveling with children.

Tiny but clean!
Nice hotel situated in a quiet area of central London.. However, the room was tiny, and you could easily hear your neighbour breathe! Really disturbing during the night!! The bathroom was, as the room itself, tiny.. You could use the toilet, shower your feet and brush your teeth at the same time, without problems! The hotel staff was friendly and helpful, and the rooms was clean and spotless!
To sum things up: Thumbs up for staff, location and cleaning of the rooms! Thumbs down for the extremely tiny room, the brick hard bed and the thin walls! |

comfort inn bayswater
Stayed overnight 16th Jan we were in London to see Dirty Dancing near Covent Garden. The web site listed this hotel as being within 1/2 mile walking distance and totally in a different part of London. The hotels lift did not work (we were on the 3rd floor) the bar was closed for whatever reason. bedroom and bedlinen very clean, breakfast good extra coffee, tea toast on offer.Staff all foreign but polite and helpful. If it hadnt have been the location so far from Covent Garden I would have said very good. |
