"A decent Place to Stay"
I have stayed at the Comfort Inn in New Glasgow, Nova Scotia a number of times while in transit to other areas of N.S. The most recent being in September, 2006. It is characteristic of a two tier modern motel with a continental breakfast. It is clean and well-managed. It also appears popular and usually has a near full attendance. It is a good idea to check ahead for this one or arrive earlier in the day. It is situated close to a modern shopping mall, Tim Horton's Wendy's, various businesses and the ramp-way to the Trans Canada Highway. To my view, this is a fine motel where you get good value for your money. The rooms are well-appointed and a better than average value. The staff will go out of their way to help you if need be. This place is not brand new like the one next door or not the least expensive around, like the one down the road, but it offers a great room and quality service with a free continental syle breakfast that is well worth it. This is a great place to stay while passing through or visiting the New Glasgow, Stellarton, Westville, Thorburn areas. This is one of the good ones.
