My family and I have stayed 3 times now at this hotel and have recommended it to several friends. Although the hotel is in a rather 'seedy' area the hotel is very clean, hospitable and the breakfast is extremely good value for money. The metro station and buses stops are only a short walk from the hotel and we find that it is only about a 15min walk to Gare du Nord - handy when arriving and departing with cases then you don't have to bother with Metro steps etc. The hotel allows you to leave your cases in a room after check out until you wish to take them so very convenient. A good 2 star hotel.

"quiet, great location"
My wife and I have stayed a couple of different times at this Comfort Inn. It is close to a metro station as well as close to Sacre Coeur and Place de Tertre artists square. Because it has been recently renovated, it is clean and modernized. Love its quaint breakfast nook in the "cave." Front desk personnel has been extremely helpful, especially Junas.

"Surprisingly good!!"
The hotel was basic, but clean, comfortable, and warm - everything you need for a whistle stop tour of the city! We found the staff to be really helpful, and we were given clean towels and our beds were made every day. The hotel was also being decorated so everything felt fresh and new.
There was plenty to eat and drink at breakfast, and the rooms had TVs (although who wants to watch TV when in Paris?)
The Barbes Rochechouart metro stop is 2 mins walk away and all major sights are within a 45 minute journey. The Sacré Coeur and Moulin Rouge are in walking distance, and there are a couple of small supermarkets on Rue de Clignancourt., and lots of bars and restaurants within a 10 minute walk of the hotel. The taxi from the airport (orly) was 45 euros approx as parisian taxis charge extra for baggage and a 4th person due to weight constraints.
I would highly reccomend this hotel to anyone travellling on a budget.

Comfort Inn Saint Pierre
This hotel is very close to the metro station barbes rochaurd its only a two minute walk from there. it is very basic and the rooms are compact, although it clean. the area around the metro seemed quite rough (lot of gangs, pickpockets etc) but the sacre coeur and artists square makes up for it as its so close.

Comfort Inn St Pierre
For all those travellers that are looking for a reasonable priced hotel in Paris, this is the one. Basic yes, hoiwever room was large and not your average tiny Parisian room. Decent bathroom with large shower. The rooms were clean. Mattress
hard though. the hotel is located in an ethinic area of Paris, lots of choices (reasonable prices)in the way of food.
For a good French meal try the La Pierrade on Rue des Martrys just a few minutes from the hotel. 18 euros for a set
Fondue menu. Lots of other interesting little places nearby.
Three Metro stations within a few minutes walking distance.
Abbess/ Pigall & Babes Rochechouart . Stations are either on line 4 /2 or 12.
For $240 incl Tax and breakfast for 4 nights this was a great deal. Have paid much more for a room in Parishalf the size .
The front desk staff are an amazing bunch. Our thanks go to Gaspar, who was a wealth of info.
The hotel is a budget hotel so do not expect anything else.

Good Hotel
Hotel itself is nice with friendly staff and very helpful. They propose a good french breakfast.
The rooms are clean and quite (double glazed windows) and warm.
The hotel isn`t located in a very plaisant area as there are a lot of shops around so it`s very crowded at some times but you have an easy access to restaurants and supermarkets just next door also the 2 metro stations(anver and barbes). Also the positive point of the location is that there is "le sacre coeur" just five minutes walking from the hotel.
I paid around £70 for 2 nights (december) and it was a great bargain, thx Gta!

"Handy and inexpensive"
Clean and comfortable, with easy access to all the hurly-burly of Montmartre; get past the touists and find those romatic, secluded spots for yourselves - the Moulin de la Galette, made famous by Renoir's painting of the same name, and stunning views over Paris. Also well served by the main artery of the Metro, carrying you to the heart of Paris.
On the face of it, not the most glamourous area, but vital and exciting. Hotel with courteuos staff, and a pleasant continental breakfast. Good coffee!
