Como Hotel is a completely refurnished hotel right in the city center, 15 minutes walk from tha lake, with centralised air conditioning. Como is a modern hotel with blue and white entrance portico.

Regional and international dishes and a selection of wines are served in the relaxed setting of the Pavone Restaurant which has a simple white décor and light wood furnishings. During the summer months, grilled meat and fish dishes are served in the Roof Garden Restaurant. The roof garden also has an open-air swimming pool and poolside bar for aperitifs or snacks.

Modern congressual equipment of the hotel makes it favourable to welcome meetings, professional trainings and refresher courses.
LOCATION

Como Hotel is located in the centre of the city at just 15 minutes walk from the lake and 400 metres from the pedestrian area in the historic centre.
PROPERTY AMENITIES

* Pavone Restaurant:
Regional and international dishes and wines served in a relaxed setting with white décor, light wood furnishings and tiled floors.

* Roof Garden:
Grilled meat and fish dishes served on the terrace overlooking Lake Como during the summer months.

* The small lounge area near the lift on the ground floor is equipped with a free Internet connection which is available to guests. For security reasons, we request the presence of a responsible adult when minors use this service.

* The free swimming pool is open from the 1st of June to the 30th of September. It is located on the fifth floor and is open from 9.00 to 20.00.
The sun room, in a covered area of the terrace, is sunny in the morning and equipped with sun loungers.

* 3 meeting rooms available to customers, seating up to 75 people. They can be used for meetings, training courses and product presentations.
Modern audiovisual equipments, overhead projector, carrousel slide projector, TV and videotape recorder, flip-chart projector.

"Great Place to Stay...."
I had booked a surprise holiday to the Grand Prix at Monza for my husbands 40th Birthday and decided to stay in Como despite not having much information about the area. Afterwards I searched the internet for information to this area, and found many detrimental reports. Yes I agree it is not the prettiest place, but so friendly. You can get to places like Bellagio (very pretty place) inexpensively from the lake using the hydrofoil or slower boats. The restaurants were good value and very friendly. The Hotel Como was excellent and the pool roof terrace was perfect, the staff were exceptional, Overall it was a wonderful 5 day break. My advice is give Como a try you will not be disappointed.
