Recommend Hotel Very good value. Clean, en suite bathroom, no frills hotel. Close to tram, easy access to Market and the old part of Nice. If on smallbudget, would certainly stay again.

Recommemded Hotel! Just back from spending 2nights at this hotel- first of all may I say how great the staff were- you could not have met friendlier people! Had a choice of 2 rooms when we arrived- both pretty much the same. Rooms are small enough but perfect for 2 people- cant say we lacked space. Shower was the best shower ever! So powerful! Rooms were changed daily and perfecty clean. We arrived for breakfast at 10o clock on the fist morning so we didnt have any croissants etc, fresh bread was available along with cereal, juices, fruit salad, tea coffee, ham cheese etc. However on the 2nd morning we were flying early so was down for breakfast at 7am- fresh croissants, cakes, plenty of them and they were lovely! Location wise it is just off the main street, it is at the top of it so it is around a 15minute walk to the beach- but along the main street so dosnt seem that long. If you dont feel like walking the tram is literally 2 seconds away and goes SO regularly! Overall had a great time, January wether was surprisingly fantastic with it hitting 20 degrees on the saturday, Sunday was cloudy with sunshine but couldnt complain. Train ride to Montecarlo takes 15minutes and def worth a trip!

Excellent value for your money! I've stayed at this hotel now for 4 times and it's proved to be an excellent hotel with a very friendly staff/reception who speak very well English and German! Rooms are spacious and clean enough and they offer a very good breakfast for a two-sar accomodation. And they do their very best to apply your personal wishes as well as they can! Also perfect for single travellers! I'd strongly recommand this hotel!!!

about the breakfast Dear Sir/Mme: I'm glad to receive your comfirmation voucher for Comte de Nice someday ago. What I want to know is whether the breakfast is included in the rate? Becuae I know it should be included, but it is not clearly indicated in the voucher. Would you please give a clear reply. I think the total sum of 410USD should include taxes, service charge and breakfast. Best regards Jiazheng Zhou

Comte de Nice Hotel This place is a real treat, we stayed here the 5th to the 9th of January. its close to the train station and just off the main shopping street. the rooms were super clean, we were given a choice of 2 different room types when we arrived! The staff were really helpful and had loads of local information - town maps and bus timetables to give us. The breakfast was suberb. Highly reccommend it!

"Lovely homely hotel" I stayed at the Comre De Nice Jan 22nd. 2006 for 3 nights, I was firstly impressed by the homely atmosphere of this hotel, and the friendliness and effficeny of the staff. The breakfast was also very good. I really enjoyed my stay there, amd I found the hotel;s position excellent for quietness, yet so close to all the tourist areas.
