"Great Hotel"
The Conrad at Bangkok is a great hotel. Very modern with a nice deco inside. The rooms were new and clean and kept in really good condition. The open concept bathroom was just lovely and the service at the hotel was exceptional. We will defintely want to stay there again.

"Service with a geniune smile"
If you are looking for a comfortable place to call home whilst in Bangkok, I can thoroughly recommend the Conrad Bangkok. If you plan on doing shopping, then this hotel is ideally located, being within walking distance of Suan Lum night market, and a short Skytrain ride west to places such as Siam Centre, MBK, Paragon, or east for places along Sukhimvit.
Room are well equipped, my Deluxe Corner room featured a refreshing "rain" shower and long deep bath with views over BKK. Bed was heaven. Cleaniless was excellent and you even get a small elephant to take home with you to remind you of your stay (cute touch).
Pool areas great and receive sunshine all day long (many other hotel pools in BKK end up shaded for much of the day). Room service pricey but top quality in both taste and presentation.
But what makes this hotel really attractive are the staff. Conrad management have choosen excellent people to represent this hotel in BKK. From the moment I arrived, I was made to feel like a king, and by the end of my stay, I not only knew most of their names but a little of each person. The warmth and hospitality was by far the best I have ever received in my hotel experiences. Any request was handled with pleasure and a smile, the assistance provided re my overweight luggage problem (not unusual when leaving BKK) was outstanding. A call was made to the Hotel representatives at the airport, which meant I was met at the airport and taken through check-in procedures with no extra charge for baggage (Thank you Conrad and Thai).
I usually go once or twice a year to BKK, and next time I'm certainly booking in again for another dose of their friendly professional service and assistance.

"Great hotel"
The conrad is what you would expect, great service and a great hotel. We arrived and were upgraded to the executive floor which is always going to be a good thing. The staff were amazing and realy helped us out when we wanted to arrange a ncie romantic dinner. We left it a bit late but the staff did the best to get us what we wanted. The location is great as it was near lumpini park which is where the night market is and it is 10 minutes walking distance from the hotel.
We spent most of our days around the pool and the staff were friendly and very efficient. The food was really nice and the service was always very quick.
In the room the facilities were great but the lighting system was a bit annoying as we could never find the correct switch.
You were given 2 elephant toys, one was on your bed and the other was a rubber squeezy elephant left by the bath.

"Great Hotel, Highly Recommended"
I stayed at the Conrad for 3 nights. This is a very nice hotel, you would think you were staying at a Ritz or Four Seasons 5* type hotel. I had a deluxe corner king (it is worth to pay the extra $10-15). The room was very nicely decorated. Bathroom had incredible view, with bathtub and shower with rain type faucet. The hotel gym is very nice as well as the spa. I highly recommend trying the spa, my massage was great. The hotel also offers a buffet breakfast, around $17 US. Good selection, a little pricey but I though the food was good. There is a nice Itlalian restuarant nearby called Pomodoro, which was also good. There is a nice pool area, only problem was you looset he sun around 1pm due to the highrises blocking it out, but again very nice area. The hotel has a lobby bar that often features jazz bands with singers. This hotel is near the Sukhimvit area across from the US Embassy. This is the hotel to stay at if you are going to be in this area. Check the hotel's website for rates, often have lower rates on selected nights.
