Rooms live up to their 5 star rating!
My room at the Marriott Hotel Copenhagen was fantastic - spacious, elegantly decorated and an amazing view! The king size bed was luxuriously comfortable and the linen of high quality. I really couldn't find any fault with the rooms. However, the service at times was not 5 star and whilst the breakfast was delicious, it was also overpriced. Having said that, I have stayed in many 5 star hotels around the world and the Marriott certainly didn't disappoint!

"Awesome"
Stayed at the Marriot Copenhagen over a long weekend. It was raining for most of the weekend however, the Marriot hotel was amazing. Not only a great view....fantastic room and service...the breakfast was delicious! Walking distance into the main area of town and close to public transport. Would def stay here again. 2 Thumbs up!

"Great location, Nice hotel"
My family (two sons, age 7 and 3; their grandparents; and my husband and I) all stayed here from 29 Dec to 31 Dec 2006. We booked two roooms: both were spacious and immaculate, with extremely comfortable beds. The hotel is in a great location-- a 10 minute walk from the train station or Tivoli Gardens, and it overlooks a canal. They wanted us to pay extra for a canal-side room, so we declined, and we're glad we did because then we could see the fireworks from Tivoli Gardens, which the kids loved. As it was holiday week, the hotel was doing lots of maintenance work, but that didn't matter to us as we used the hotel as a place to sleep, not a place to spend a lot of time. The breakfast buffet was amazing, full of nice food. We got a table one morning straight away, but the next morning we were slightly later, so we had to wait, but only for 5 minutes. I would recommend this hotel highly. The only downside of this hotel is that it's an American chain hotel that prides itself on offering the same service everywhere, so it feels as though you could be anywhere in the world. It didn't feel particularly Danish.

"Excellent hotel with outstanding staff."
This is a great hotel. It is new and of very high quality. Excellent beds, outstanding bathrooms. Best of all, the staff is clearly superior to other Copenhagen hotels. They are clearly Marriott trained, i.e. a very high level of service from a friendly and helpful bunch of people who know their stuff. The location is superior with easy access by car, by foot and by public transportation. The noise level is very low, i.e. no traffic noise or noises from other rooms. Clearly one of the best hotels in Copenhagen with one of the best locations.

"Fantastic hotel by the water"
We stayed in Copenhagen for one night and the hotel was fantastic in every way. We were able to check in 5 hours earlier than normal and the check-in staff were very helpful and friendly. We got an excellent deal through the hotel website staying in a deluxe room, which including breakfast. This has to be one of our favourite hotels.

"Couldn't have been better!!!"
Staying in the Marriott Copenhagen is an expereince not to be missed. Having styed in the D'angleterre and the Radisson SAS Royal, I can safely say that the Marriott is truly the best. On arrival, the check-in staff were extremely helpful, and advised transferring to a warterview room for only 60 DKK extra. This was well worth it, as we were on the 9th floor, and the view was amazing. The room was completely immaculate, and had everything you would expect froma 5* hotel. I've never slept in beds more comfortable, however there was so much of a chopice of pillows, I couldn't get the combination right. If you want a good night's sleep, stay here. Also,we asked for a kettle because there were no tea/coffee making facilities, and one was brought to our room without charge, which included free tea/coffee as well. The bathroom was immaculate and the shower is very powerful. The concierge service will attend to your every need. As for porximity, we found that even with the low-ish temperatures in October, walking was not a problem to all the major sites. We stayed for three days, and our legs were only tired from the amount of walking between sites. Once you havel left the Marriott, it is very easy. We walked to the Little Mermaid, which is a very long walk, however, the beds soon compensated for this. We also stayed for breakfast, which is very Americanised, but in my opinion, that did not matter, because it was of such a high standard. The breakfast was more than enough to satisfy us for the rest of the day. It was very delicious! Also, we needed several taxis at points and the hotel made this very easy, as there are several lined up outside the hotel - very convenient. We also took the canal tour form outisde the hotel, which can be booked at reception. This returns you to the hotel afterwards. This was a magnificent stay in such a high quality hotel, and I would like to thank the Marriott greatly! I strongly advise staying here

"Best in Copenhagen"
Having stayed at a number of places in and around Copenhage for business, I have to say the Marriott hotel is the best of them all so far. The rooms are clean and first class with large comfy beds and spacious marble countered bathrooms. The hotel is a convenient walk to wherever you need to go in the city, including to the train stations. During my time there we held a 230+ person dinner, meeting, and reception for the culmination of a special event. The dinner was excellent and service attentive. The facilities for such an event were first rate and clean, clearly reflecting management's ability at this hotel. To cure the effects of a such an event, do not pass up the hotel breakfast, it is indeed outstanding. Overall a great place to stay for business or pleasure.

"Fantastic hotel, beautiful"
This is one of the best hotels that I have ever stayed in. I'm a frequent traveller to Copenhagen with work and I always try to stay here. It truly is a Five star facility, the level of service is amazing. Hotel is spotless clean and the staff are amazing. I cannot fault anything at this hotel, from the fantastic beds to the heated floor in the bathroom. The bar and restaurant area is beautiful. Top marks for this hotel. It's location is amazing.
