"Brilliant hotel"
We had a fantastic room with a view over the Quays themself. The room was clean and well kept, reception staff were very pleasant and gave us loads of information about the area when asked. The MEN Arena is about a 5 minute drive away. The main bar area was a smokers den and stank to high heaven, was surprised that the bar area was so small for a hotel of its size. Breakfast must rate amongst the best I have had anywhere in the world it was excellent, fresh, tasty and good value. I would definately stay at this hotel again.

"Good hotel for for a short break"
Booked a double room, (with A.Y.C.E. buffet breakfast) for a ridiculously good rate of £54 on Superbreak for one night over the BH weekend. Room was perfectly Ok, a bit like an upmarket Travelodge really. Room clean, good bathroom, no noticeable noise. Everything was as expected really - although not sure it's worth the £120 they normally charge in the week.......
Excellent breakfast that is usually £10 but it was VERY quiet this weekend.

"Nice Hotel - would stay here again"
Booked this hotel through laterooms for a weekend. Reception staff really nice and friendly always on hand to offer local advice. Room was nice - spotless clean, comfy beds - lovely feather pillows (unlike what previous reviewer said, maybe they acted upon this comment!) Only critisism I can think is the bathroom was a little dated and room (318) was very hot. Had to sleep with the windows open, but it was still hot. A busy hotel which gave a nice atmosphere - plenty of parking. Tram stop (Exchange Quay) a 2 mins walk away - We caught the tram back at 12:45am. 10 mins walk to Loury Centre. Didn't eat at hotel, but it was busy with people from outside which I presume is a good sign. Would stay here again if I was visiting Manchester.

"Wonderful Stay"
I recently had the priveledge (and it was) of staying at the Copthorne Hotel in Manchester. I can honestly say that I have neve had such a wonderful stay at a hotel for a weekend. I have spent a good deal of time in hotels for business purposes and none bar maybe one has given their level of service. In addition we have stayed in hotels with "break rates" and who make it quite plain we are worthy of less service. The standard of room was excllent in particular the level of service and willingness to help from staff at all levels, in the restaurant the service was quite simply superb.

"Great deal for £49!"
we stayed at the Copthorne for one night.
The staff were very friendly, and the room, was clean, tidy and very comfortable.
The hotel is situated nicely for the Tram, and takes about 10-15 mins to get in to the city centre. About 10 mins walk from Old Trafford.
Check out the web for better deals than the £160 rack rate.
