This hotel did not have quite easy access to the beach and the beach it did have was not that nice. However the hotel was very clean and the rooms were nice. It was easy to get to the bus and the stalls to eat.

Copthorne Orchid Hotel Penang is good for its fare. Try to rent a car yourself and get around the island with the map that will make your stay more enjoyable. The hotel beach was small but the sunrise is a wonderful scene.

Copthorne Orchid Hotel Penang accomodations are spacious and comfortable. The food is als also very good, with an excellent breakfast buffet. The pool is sparkling and clean. The lobby cool and rich in dark woods. The view from my spacious room is breathtakingly beautiful. It may not be the E&O, but the Copthorne makes for a pleasant stay and there are a number of dining alternatives nearby, if desired. Granted, there have been a few minor issues, but these were addressed quickly and without fuss. There is also an in-house spa for the guest who wants a bit of pampering.
