"What a find!" My boyfriend and i stayed in this marvelous hotel for 3 nights and really didn't want to leave. It was so luxurious compared with other places we had stayed in throughout Europe of a similar price range. The hotel is situated a short walk away from the bus stop which takes about 5-10 minutes to get you into the main touristy area. The hotel staff are always willing to help and all of the ones we encountered spoke English. Our room was huge and had all the amenities one would hope for. The shower was large too which was a nice bonus. Breakfast was the higlight of our stay in Salzburg!!! What a grand selection of assorted breads, spreads, hot meals, yoghurts, cereals, desserts, fruit, teas etc etc etc. On our last day in Salzburg we needed to leave the hotel really early and were quite upset by the fact that we would miss out on this feast. Would you believe the staff arranged a little take-away bag for us containing 3 assorted rolls each and some pieces of fruit??!! So unexpected and lovely of them. Also, there is a free Internet terminal in the hotel which is really useful since all the internet cafes we passed seemed really expensive. Since we visited Salzburg in the off-season we received about a 50% discount on our room. I think i would still return if i had to pay the full fare it really is spectacular!
