"highly recommended!"
i stayed with my husband and two friends from 28/1 to 31/1/07.
This was our first visit to prague. the hotel had been recommended by a friend and we were delighted. we had to wait to check as they were busy and this gave us a chance to look around. The furnishings and general ambience was welcoming and there were customers in the bar as well as reception.
As we arrived quite late on a sunday we decided to eat in the Piazza Restaurant. We had a quality meal with wine and drinks for about £100 for 4 people. The Waitress was excellent, recommending wine and teaching "cheers" in Czech, attentive but not over facing.
during our short stay we used the customer service several times. Lucy helped us to chose a typical Czech restarant and arranged the taxis for us,and booked a river trip and dinner. She also sold us our metro tickets and explained the system and gave detailled directions. I have travelled extensively on business and for pleasure and can honestly say she is an absolute treasure. We were on such a short trip it was important to make the most of our time and Lucy gave excellent service with a smile to light up the coldest of days.
We also had a few drinks in the bar and had a really great evening. The Barman had limited english, but we had no Czech, and he made us feel really welcome answering our questions and even managing to have some laughs despite the language barrier.
Our room was on the 10th floor. It was well appointed with all the usual things. It was also very warm and cosy which was welcome after a long day out walking in the cold winter weather.
Prague itself was a delight. Everyone wanted to give good service. The City is so beautiful. We really enjoyed wandering around, taking photos and drinking in the atmosphere. We went up to the Castle too which was so beautiful and full of history.
Our hotel was a few stops from the town centre but its all part of the fun to find your way. the Metro was only 2 minutes walk from the Hotel if you took an immediate left and didn't walk to the end of the drive. It was a bit scuffy outside and there were workmen building, but NOT UNSAFE or SCARY. If you think that was unsafe you want to try walking out in English cities at night!
Thank you so much to the hotel staff at the Corinthia and to Prague. We loved you!!

"no complaints apart from one"
I have just returned from a four day break at this hotel,Before leaving i did read the reviews for this hotel and was a bit apprehensive because it was myself and five of my mates going on my stag do.All i can say is that don't judge a book by its cover, there was nothing wrong with this hotel apart from there being no tea/coffee making facilities in the room which i would of expected from a 4* hotel.
The hotel is not that far from the centre of prague, and the metro is so easy to use, just take two mins to look at the map above your head and you will work it out.If any of you have ever been to Turkey or Egypt then you will be used to touts,if you have not then just firmly say NO and they will walk away.
Two bars we recomendd is the sports bar which is located next to Darlings(which by the way is not all its made up to be)and a club across the road called Atlas(ask in the sports bar and they will give you half price tickets.
Over all we really enjoyed it and will be going back soon for another stag do, and staying in the same hotel.

"4 days at the Corinthia Panorama"
We spent 3 nights at the Hotel from 24-27 May and were generally impressed by the facilities. I booked with Lastminute.com without knowing the name of the Hotel until the booking was confirmed. The price included a superior room, breakfast and free use of the pool and gym. When we arrived we were immediately given one of the business rooms which are well furnished and decorated. This was about 10:30am even though the check-in time is usually 2pm. The staff were always helpful when asked for information, although one evening we were in the bar and the service was slow and the two members of staff seemed to be struggling to cope with the orders. I used the pool once and have no complaints although a couple of other times the pool was closed (at about 5pm and about 11am during the week). The rooms were cleaned effiiciently and we received clean towels whenever we requested them. The Hotel is conveniently located close to the metro and there is a supermarket close by if you don't want to pay the mini bar prices. The included breakfast is basically a continental breakfast (cereal, juice, toast etc.) with eggs and sausage and pasta. We would be happy to stay at the hotel again.

"Loved it!"
Corinthia Panorama hotel is situated a few stops away from the city's center. Te metro stop is only a minute away from the hotel.
The hotel rooms are spacious , clean and fully equipped. the bathroom is large and clean. The hotel was also very quiet. The staff were friendly and helpful. they speak about 5 languages each!
The breakfast was very big the food was various and excellent! Try the sausages! Everymorning they had a few different local goodies to try.
I highly recommend this hotel to everyone.

"Great vacation!!"
Well, we had a nice stay in Prague this summer. Our reservation was made directly with the hotel and I guess thats the best way to do it, because they informed us about everything. We ended up taking an Executive room. The staff was always very helpful, especially at the executive reception. We wanted to get our clothes ironed, but we were told that its against fire regulations?? Well, in the end we got our clothes ironed free of charge thanks to the executive upgrade.
The breakfast was awesome. All was there you could wish for, even small salads and sour fish if you had a long night. The staff here was just so pleasant. The room was ok. Nothing special though. I complaint about not having a smoking room and I was immediately changed to another room with another little fruit basket.
The location of the hotel is outside of the center, but I guess that is a positive thing, since the tourists in the center are always there and always loud. The hotel is located in a business / local district with close access to the subway, which is working magnificent.
What I most enjoyed was taking a swim in the pool on the top floor at 9PM overviewing Prague...
All in all, the hotel is a very busy one, but to what I have experienced, it certainly stnads up for its 4 stars...I couldn't see a difference in service when I went to their 5 star sister hotel for a meeting.

"Lovely hotel"
Unbelievable this hotel is only 4 stars! Starting from the reservation, the airport transfer, the spacious lobby, the guest room and the restaurants, everything was in excellent condition and the staff was very nice.
I was afraid that it would be far away from the city, but it turned out to be just a short walk from the subway station and in 5 minutes, you are directly in the center!
Small criticism could be the big amount of groups, that come to this hotel, but they had a separate breakfast room so it really did not bother me that much. The reception handled the huge amount of people very efficiently, and still being welcoming. I will surely recommend this hotel to others, as it is not as expensive as the similar hotels in Prague and the service / food / facilities were great!

"We loved the Panorama!"
The Corinthia Panorama hotel is somewhat bleak-looking on the outside, but extremely well-presented on the inside. The reception staff were very helpful and friendly, especially as we were unable to fly home on the last day (due to the airport being closed with snow) and they happily booked us back in and looked after us during our unintended stay (even giving us an upgrade for free).
The hotel is only a 5 min walk from the nearest Metro station, and hence only a short journey into the centre of Prague.
The breakfast buffet was good, with a wide range of options, but the bread was a little dry (as we found in several Prague restaurants). We had an evening meal in the continental restaurant in the hotel, which was very good quality and reasonably priced. We also had a few drinks in the first floor bar - the barmen were again very friendly and the cocktails were excellent.
The rooms are comfortable and tidy, with some good views from the higher floors.
An all-round excellent hotel.

: "Fantastic, good value, great standard hotel"
Location - only 4 stops or 15 minutes on the underground from the hotel to the very centre of Prague city. Far enough away from the crowds but close enough to be able to sightsee during the day and then hop on the underground to go back to the hotel to change for dinner and then back into the city centre again! The underground station is only a 2 minute walk from the hotel and an all day travel pass cost 80 czk (about £1.86) and let you travel unlimited for 24 hours on the underground/bus/tram/Petrin Hill funicular railway. The underground ran until midnight daily and was very clean, modern and safe - if the main ticket office is closed (Sunday), the tabac shop in the station sells underground passes.
I booked through ---- and managed to book 5 x twin rooms for £35 per person per night including breakfast (very reasonable for July) and they even arranged a very efficient (if not speedy) minibus to pick 9 of us up to and from the airport (about £3.80 each/each way). It only took 30 minutes from the airport.
Hotel lobby was quite spectacular, spacious and even had tv monitors showing flight departure times/arrivals for the airport. The check in/out was effortless, quick and the staff very friendly and spoke English very well.
Our room was a twin on the 12th floor (of 23) - which was a business floor, so the extras were fluffy bathrobes and a good selection of toiletries in the bathroom and a very nice, clean room. The tv had various channels and included London's Capital Radio, with speakers also in the bathroom. Free safe in the room, which is opened by your room key card.
Air conditioning was free, controllable and kept the room cool. There was a mini bar but prices were very, very expensive and at least double what you would pay for a drink in Prague centre! Also do not drink the bottle of Evian water on the table in the room, even though it's not in the mini bar there was a label which was not very clear stating that it cost 10 Euros (about £6.50!!).
Breakfast, which was included, was unbelievable - available from 6.30am to 11am! A huge selection of help yourself unlimited buffet: cereals, 4 different fresh juices, tea/coffee, pastries of all kinds, crepes, fruit, yoghurts, hams, cheeses, fish, all kinds of bread and toast, gateux!! and all kinds of cooked items. We did not have dinner in the hotel but was rumoured to be very expensive.
The swimming pool looked nice but you had to pay 300 czk per visit (about £7) so we didn't go in.
The hotel had great amenities for a 4* - including shoe shine machines on every floor, a casino, a couple of bars (about £5 for a cocktail), a couple of shops and restaurants. There are no stairs in the hotel, but there are 4 lifts which didn't take too long and weren't that busy. The hotel also organises trips and taxis if needed.
Very very good quality hotel for the price and I would say was a very high 4* standard. I would definately recommend this hotel to anyone and would stay here again when I return to Prague (which I will do as the city is fantastic, clean, safe, easy to travel/walk around, very cheap and very friendly).
