"Excellent Hotel"
Stayed at Travelodge 6th - 9th March, 2004 and it was great. Clean and warm with very friendly and helpful staff. What more could you ask for on a city break? Location was about 1.5 miles outside of Cork and definately not walkable - didn't see any public transport either, but if you have a car it really is a superb location. There is a Little Chef next door and if you show your room key you get a discount. We have paid a lot of money for hotel rooms in the past and have had a complaint about nearly every one, but definately not this one and taking advantage of their special offer of 8 euros a night, what more can I say? Would definately recommend it.

"Excellent Travelodge"
Nice clean Travelodge located very near Cork Airport. Providing one has a car, its very easy to get into town. The Little Chef, connected to Travelodge via Reception is also very good. Prices cheaper than UK Little Chef, even with the Euro ! Plus you get a 20% discount as a Travelodge customer ! Ideal location for a short break

"Great stay at Travelodge"
I stayed at the Travelodge with my husband and 2 children aged 2 and 3 and had a lovely break. We did not have a car and had to get taxis to and from the airport and the city centre. They cost us about 10 euros each time and all taxi drivers were friendly and helpful. The room was nice and clean and beds comfortable. We ate breakfast and dinner each day at the Brog Maker Pub opposite the travelodge. All the staff were very friendly, the food was absolutely wonderful and reasonable prices too. I would highly recommend it. We had a great time and would stay there again although we would probably hire a car next time.
