Nice
My parents and I stayed at this hotel to one night. We were not intending to stay in London but saw this hotel and thought we would give it ago. The presentation of the hotel is very nice, the gentleman on Reception was friendly. The rooms were again well presented and clean-they were still doing some touch ups around the place which was fine. However if I was going to suggest any improvements it would be on the breakfast- it was limited but the breakfast area was clean and tidy. Overall my parents and I was very pleased with our stay.

Perhaps it depends on which standard you are used to when it comes to hotels but I have to say I was disappointed with the Camden Corner Hotel. On the first day when my husband and I checked in to the hotel we saw that the antenna for the TV was broken which made it difficult to watch any TV at all. We told the staff in the reception that our TV was broken, the man in the reception answered us by saying: Too bad for you. Perhaps I have to add that the TV did not get repaired either, though we stayed for almost a week. Anyway a broken TV is not the end of the world, what really made me/us never want to return to Camden Corner House Hotel again, was what happened the last night we stayed there. I woke up in the middle of the night by a strange noise. I could not figure out what it was until I saw a rat running across the floor. At first I was a bit unsure, I thought my eyes were deceiving me, but when I saw a rat for the third time the same night I felt quite convinced with what I had seen. At first we thought that the hotel was unaware of the rodent problem, since they had not informed us about it, but in the morning we saw that there was rodent bait hidden behind the desk in the room. If a hotel is aware that they have a problem with rats they should at least inform the guests and reduce the price of the room. I can put up with a lousy breakfast, a broken antenna on the TV, staff with a not always so friendly attitude but my line is crossed when rats are running around in the room.

great stay, highly recomended
We have just returned from a two night stay at the corner house and it was a truly great experience, first of all it is only one road from camden town except its a really long road, If your quite fit then it wont be a problem. the hotel was very clean and the staff were very helpful and pleasant, the lady on reception even gave us a needle and thread when I had to sew a top of mine that had ripped. the only small thing was the tap in the toilet was very poor and only trikled water out but this was not a major problem, would definitely stay here again as it was a very nice clean and friendly hotel.

Good location
My husband and I stayed for our first anniversary. The hotel was perfectly located, to camden markets, buses and tubes. When you see the name hotel you expect a little bit of pampering. Unfortunately we didn't even get a lie-in. Our room was located under the breakfast area so first thing in the morning we were awaken to the noise of chairs being dragged accross the ceiling. We soon got used to it as it was only a short stay. Breakfast was funny! You had to make your own tea and toast, just as well I use to work in a restaurant and knew how to use the commercial toaster. There was no juice or fruit or even a yogurt. Not as continental as I'm use to. No bar, No restaurant. Bit of a let down. As B&B goes it would be a very posh one!

Okay stay
Stayed here for a few days but won't return. Lady on reception not very helpful/friendly. Our room looked great but the laminate flooring was extremely dirty round the edges, so much so that after closing curtains my feet left filthy marks on bedding. Only two accessible sockets so kettle had to sit on floor which isn't very safe, there was a spare socket behind bed but couldn't get to it. The continental breakfast advertised consisted of very cheap cornflakes, jugs of milk so unsure if it was semi-skimmed, full fat etc., bread for toast, but you had to work out how to use toaster by yourself, butter, jams, tea, coffee or orange squash, not sure why squash and not juice, I suppose it comes down to price. The hotel is located close to bus stops and only a 5 min walk from Kentish Town, also traffic noise wasn't too bad for a hotel on a busy road. If only it could put right a few little things it would make a great place to stay.

good location
We had a nice stay at this hotel last month. Very clean light rooms provided us a comfortable stay. The hotel is situated on a busy road but rooms are not so noisy. Bus stop and tube station are near so during our first trip to London we did not have difficulty about transportation. I found the coffee in breakfast very yummy! Friendly service and lovely hotel. Recommended!
