"Fantastic hotel"
I stayed at the county hotel in a double room. it was fantastic the staff at reception (the red hair girl) were very attentive, anticipated my evey need.
as were the bar staff. i would recomend this hotel to anyone looking for first class service in the heart of canterbury. breakfast and dinner were just great the foood at dinner was fantastic. though a little noisey on weekend, however the hotel is in the middle of a city centre!
would be happy to stay again.

"Great Hotel, Wonderful City"
My wife, parents in law and I stayed in Canterbury for my brother in law’s graduation and we all really could not fault the County Hotel.
The location is wonderful and Canterbury seems to have improved since I went to Uni in the City six years ago. There are a lot more shops and a better choice of restaurants then there used to be.
We had lunch in the Brasserie and the service and food was very good.
The bedroom we had wasn’t luxurious by any means, but was spacious and very clean. The only downside was that it overlooked the high street, so was a bit noisy early Sunday morning - but then it was Graduation Weekend, so that is to be expected in Canterbury.
I would defiantly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Canterbury. The prices are a bit high and you have to pay £5 per night to park your car, but overall I feel it is well worth paying a bit extra for the County because of its location and most of all the friendly and welcoming staff.
