nice hotel with great service Typically this hotel can be a bit pricey, especially since it's not overlooking the falls, but you can get great dining package rates in the winter and ours included a full sized buffet breakfast. While I would not recommend forking out the $40+ it costs to have breakfast there, I would say it is much more than a standard buffet breakfast and the food is quite good. The hotel is NOT spectacular but the rooms are oversized and very clean. The beds and pillows are VERY comfortable, and the service is excellent. You can easily walk to Clifton Hill for attractions and some of the higher floors of the hotel have a slight river view. There is a mini bar and snacks available in the rooms and although they are overpriced, they are in line with pretty much all the other hotels that offer these products as well. There is a decent indoor pool area as well as an outdoor pool with a slide in the summer. As with most hotels anywhere near the Falls, there is parking charge of $8 per night. If you want to be closer to all the big name fancy hotels (with fallsviews) and the new casino, you may want to look at other options. If you want to walk to Clifton Hill and the falls, this is one of the nicer and more updated prperties in the area.
