"Marriott Courtyard at Rome Airport - Excellent"
We stayed at the Marriott Courtyard Hotel at the Rome Airport July 2006. We needed a hotel near the airport as we were leaving early the next morning for a cruise and our flight didn't get into Rome until 4:00 P.M. If you want to see Rome, this is not the place to stay, but for an overnight near the airport it is perfect. They provide a shuttle from the Airport to the hotel. The shuttle pickup area was easy to find, however there is a charge for this service. You might want to contact this hotel for a shuttle service schedule as during the afternoon it doesn't run as frequently as it does in the morning . The check in was flawless and the front desk staff very accommodating and pleasant. The hotel is new and very clean. The rooms were on the small side as you find in all the hotels in Europe, but again they were immaculate and the beds comfortable. When you check in make sure you request a time for the shuttle to pick you up the next morning. We ate at the hotel for a late lunch or early dinner and was able to order off the lunch menu, which saved some money. Breakfast was included in our room rate and it was excellent, with a wide variety of choices. There is a convenience store/gas station close so you could buy water, sodas, etc. Overall I was exceptionally pleased with this hotel and would definitely stay there again.

"Wonderful Hotel"
We booked the Courtyard by Marriot Rome Airport Hotel for our last night in Italy as we were leaving on an early flight. We found the hotel to be a welcome luxury after our stays at three other Italy hotels. The King sized bed and soft and fluffy bed linens were wonderful! We had lunch in the hotel dining room and were surprised at the quality of the food. We walked about 1/2 mile into the village of Fumincino for dinner. We were leaving too early the next morning to have the breakfast, but they did have coffee and cookies in the lobby for us to grab before we taxied to the airport. I would highly recommend this hotel if you need to be near the airport. It actually cost us less than a dump in Venice we stayed in.

"Excellent service throughout"
My husband and I spent our first night in Italy this past November at the Courtyard Marriott - Rome airport (FCO) and enjoyed it from beginning to end. Rain was pouring down when we landed so the hotel van was most welcome (though it's a little hard to find), especially since the hotel is farther from the airport than it appears to be on maps. Check-in staff were very pleasant and efficient, as were check-out staff the following morning. We ate dinner in the main restaurant at 6:30 p.m., in time for their light menu, which is similar in selection and price to lunchtime menus. The service was outstanding, and set a romantic mood that helped take the edge off our jet lag (a nine-hour time difference from home). Our room was large by European standards, the king bed was quite comfortable, and the entire place was spotless. We would definitely stay again.
