"Perfect"
I am lucky enough to travel extensively, and widely. It is rare indeed to stay in a hotel with which I could find no fault - but the Courtyard at Warsaw airport was just such a hotel. I stayed only two nights, so the scope for problems was, perhaps, small - but nonetheless from check-in to check-out my visit was flawless.
To start with, the hotel is less than a minute's walk from the terminal. It has a pleasant bar and cafe in the lobby, and a restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. The food was excellent.
My room was clean, nicely furnished (with the godsend of an iron and ironing board, but no mini-bar). It was quiet and comfortable. Poland's skilled workmen have a great reputation for quality - Marriott must have employed them on this project, because the fixtures, fittings and finishing throughout the property were impressive.
Taxis to downtown are easily found across the street at the airport (be sure to take a taxi from a reputable company, with logos and phone numbers plastered on the cab - there are touts who will rip you off) - the fare is 25-30 zloty.
The hotel is rather hermetically sealed, so if you feel like a change of scene for an evening drink, wander down to the La Luna bar at the domestic terminal (five minutes walk) where excellent Polish beer is a third of the price you pay in the hotel, and where outdoor tables abound.
I need to return to Warsaw during the summer - I have already made by reservation at the Courtyard!
