"great break"
We were 3 pairs and all of us like the place a lot. The room was clean, quite large and located far from the noisy area of pool and reception. Both the breakfast and dinner were great. Each time we missed dinner we informed reception and they allowed us to eat lunch buffet for free next day. In one evening we went to cochilia restaurant in the hotel which has a great view over the sea, but we paid there 300 euro for 3 lobsters and two bottles of wine. The hotel is located close to the center and almost each evening we went out to one of numerous tavernas in the hersonissos. All the days we lay in the sun on the beach, the water was perfect: clean, warm and blue. We have sun all the days, only few drops of rain in one afternoon. We visited: santorini - breathtaking, agios nikolaos - don't bother as it has just few streets, heraklion - waste of time and malia - were we had a great night of non-stop party. We went in mountain area to spent a traditional cretan night - we also like it a lot. I strongly recommend creta as holiday destination for late september and creta maris hotel- good value for money.
