"Very nice hotel"
We were very pleasantly surprised by this hotel..especially after reading some of the other reviews for it on 'TripAdvisor'. Our room was large, clean and very comfortable. It certainly didn't need redecorating..maybe it has just been 'done up'? The outdoor swimming pool and surrounding area were very nice..and the pool was heated which made a very pleasant surprise! The hotel's own restaurant (strangely called 'Balloons') was totally lacking in atmosphere. I would estimate that 90% of dinner guests dined at the Thai restaurant which is run as a concession within the hotel. It was very good and deserved to get all the business!

"A pleasant surprise"
We weren't sure what to expect here, given other reviews we had read. We needn't have worried - it was terrific. The rooms were very pleasant, with a beautiful view of the surrounding Macdonnell ranges. The service was friendly, and the heated pool a welcome recreation spot for our kids. We appreciated the fact that there was no charge for the tennis courts, and there was a laundry available for guests (to wash all that red dust away!) Would definitely stay again!
