"Fantastic!!!" This hotel was amazing! Rooms were very spacious, loved the bathroom. Had a minor problem with the shower but overall a beautiful room. Right opposite the station, really close to city centre. Breakfast had lots of choice and the dining room was modern and contemporary. Overall, the hotel has many facilites and we had a thoroughly enjoyable time.

"Excellent choice for seeing Lille" Stayed here for 2 nights having booked on-line with a room rate of 106 euros for B&B. The hotel is literally 3 minutes walk from the Eurostar station, and is very easy to find as the hotel frontage is copper! Reception were brilliant throughout our stay, no problems with storing luggage, late check-out and giving us a map of Lille so that we could find our way around. There are two sides to the hotel, the side facing the town, and the side facing the motorway/back of Lille, try and get a town facing room if you want to see Lille. (see photos). The rooms are large and air-cooled (I wouldn't say conditioned as they don't have a temperature guage on), but the room temperature was comfortable, even though it was hot at night. A large and comfortable bed, chairs/desks and funky bathroom, with etched glass partition walls (there is a separate loo!), with lovely copper toned tiles and modern white bathroom fittings completed the modern minimalist rooms. The hotel is really quiet, even when the hotel is fairly busy, there was little corridor noise and the rooms seem to be sound proofed as we didn't hear a single thing from other rooms. The only downside to the room is that the large window didn't open, making me feel a bit as though I was in a goldfish bowl, but it did ensure that no street noise could be heard at all (including from trains). Breakfast was very laid back and was of high quality buffet style. I loved all the continental rolls/pastries, but there were sausages/bacon/eggs there should you want it (we were breakfasting at 0945 am and there were still items in the hot buffet there, although the pancake I had was barely warm, I didn't mind. Sundays in lille is pretty much centred around the Wazeem market, which is well worth the trip, via a short metro ride. Shops around wazeem are open on Sunday. The market sells everything from flowers and clothes to puppies and pigeons. The Beau Art Gallery is also open on a Sunday if you like classical art. On the first Sunday in the month it is free entry. We also stumbled across a Tango dance in the old stock exchange on a Sunday Evening. It was just beautifiul to watch people of all ages enjoying their dancing. As a previous poster said the old town of Lille doesn't really wake up until 2pm, but the Eurolille Centre is open to visitors who like to shop.

"The BEST!" We stayed here for three nights in July and we LOVED it! Having stayed at many hotels throughout the World, my standards have become rather high, and this hotel did not dissappoint at all. The location is excellent, right outside the Euralille Eurostar station. There is a huge Shopping Centre only moments away called Euralille which has loads of shops. The room size was huge (we booked a King). The bed was really comfortable and the Air Conditioning is spot on. The view from the room was the whole of Lille. The Bathroom is very art deco, very clean and with luxury Shower gel. (The shower takes a bit of fiddling!) Every day when they clean your room, they give you a free bottle of Evian which is a nice touch. Overall the service we recieved from the staff was excellent. There is a blonde lady at reception named Elyse whose customer service was outstanding. She was friendly and catered to our every need. We didnt take breakfast at the hotel and there are many cafes just outside and inside the Euralille shopping centre. The best place for breakfast is a place called Paul. The shopping centre also has a Carrefour supermarket for cheap and delicious goodies. We walked down and discovered "Old Lille" which is very nice with cobbled streets, there is a restaurant called L'Orange Expression which you really must try. As well as that, just minutes from the hotel is a place called CrePizza which makes fresh pancakes and really delicious pizzas. Considering that there's not really much to do in Lille, it was one of the best breaks I've had and this was due to the Hotel and the staff, especially Elyse.
