"Stunning views, piece and quiet"
Crowne Plaza Vilnius is a smartly converted 1970s design, efficient but nothing special, and frankly not more exciting than an average business hotel in Tokyo or Frankfurt. However, the location is super-premium: the hotel is at the park end of Ciurlionio Street, one of the poshest residential areas in the Lithuanian capitals which also hosts some of the campus buildings of Vilnius University, the oldest in Eastern Europe. Ciurlionio Street, a quiet tree-lined boulevard, connects the edge of the Old Town of Vilnius with Vingis Park, with its old pine trees, perfect for early morning jog or just a relaxed walk in summer. Crowne Plaza is three minutes walk from the park gates. If you are lucky, you room will overlook the park; if not, you are not much worse off - you will be looking to the red tiled roofs in the centre of Vilnius far away. Crowne Plaza is not as central as "very central" hotels in Vilnius, but with taxis cheap, reliable and abundant as they are in Vilnius, the ride to downtown will cost you - at most - about $4.00.

Crowne Plaza Vilnius was a pleasant place to stay, close to old town and business district and as I said value for money. Don’t forget to visit Horizon bar on top floor, view + food is 10 stars combination. Definitely will stay in this hotel on my next Vilnius visit.
