"Loved the Culloden"
My husband and I stayed in the Culloden Hotel recently and absolutely loved it. The settings and furnishings of the hotel are fabulous. All staff were curteous and helpful with a smile on their face. The food in the restaurant was delicious. While in the hotel we attended a wedding and I have to say it was the best wedding we have ever been. Nothing was too much trouble and again the food was to die for. The function room Stuart Suite is absolutely gorgeous. If I was not already married this would definitaly be the place.
I would urge anyone who is looking to spoil themselves to book a break in the Culloden Hotel - you will not regret it.

"Very comfortable hotel, excellent value"
The Culloden is located about 5 miles outside Belfast, just before the transport and folk museum at Cultra, on the main road to Bangor. Very attractive grounds, with views over Belfast Lough. Rooms are decorated to a high standard and very comfortable. Lots of nice touches, such as free bottled water and a printed sheet with the weather forecast are left in the room every day.
Excellent spa, gym and pool. Lovely main restaurant and also pub style restaurant in grounds. Service in main hotel is good but a little bit more laid back (to say the least!) at the Cultra Inn.
The staff are very friendly and helpful. If your car is in the garage you can always fly in by helicopter, as one celebrity family did while we were there. Food is of a high standard, excellent in main restaurant and good in the cheaper Cultra Inn. There was a really good choice for breakfast but it was all buffet style rather than cooked fresh to order, some of the eggs were a bit greasy, but I supposed that it makes breakfast quicker. Even the afternoon tea is worth trying. It is popular with both the leisure, business trade and for weddings, there were two whilst we were there, the main restaurant still managed to cope. There has been a lot of investment in this hotel recently and it shows.
I was really surprised some other reviewers were disappointed with this hotel. We were very pleased with this hotel. It deserves its 4 stars. We booked directly and paid almost exactly the same price for B&B in a much inferior 3 star hotel in England, we felt that it was good value for the money.
