"The jewel of Santorini"
Dameia Palace Hotel was the highlite of our European Vacation. We traveled for the month of August ending at the Dameia Palace Hotel for our last 6 nights. The staff, starting at reception, was the best we encountered during our entire trip. They made the stay enjoyable. The food was outstanding. We really were impressed with the nightly buffet. It featured at least 20 different salads, changed nightly, two first plates (hot) and a meat or fish for the main course. Dessert alternated with a Greek sweet or seasonal fresh fruit. The rooms were excellent. We had a queen bed and a wonderful sea-view suite. The pool was the largest we had seen during our entire trip. On Thursday evening we were treated to live Greek music and a wonderful Greek Bar-B-Que. One of the owners taught Greek dances. The breakfast served was a full American breakfast buffet with would you believe fresh squeezed orange juice. If you plan to travel to Greece, don't miss this jewel. As an aside, the owners are Greek-American.
