Mr Maguire
This is a very basic hotel, right on a main road which makes it very noisy. At weekends staff could not cope with number of people arriving for breakfast at the same time. It was manic to say the least. The toilet / shower area is no more that 1200 x 1500 and a large person will find it difficult to wash in the tiny shower area. We were in roon 204 and the safe deposit box would not work. We left valuable with reception and when we went to collect them they could not be found! Did eventually get them back but this is not what you would expect. If you book this hotel don't go with a high expectation and you ought not to be disappointed. It's in a good location which is really all it has going for it. There are better hotels in the immediate area. |

"Excellent, Excellent, Excellent!!!"
What can I say, this hotel was brilliant, a real find. A brilliantly placed hotel for seeing all the sights, a few minutes walk from the main shopping area, across the road from Tivoli gardens, a few minutes walk to the harbour areas and easy to get to from Central station. It is on quite a busy road but the traffic didn't offer any problems. Opposite the National Museum. Great service, nice clean smallish rooms with tiles bathrooms, everything you could want for a city break. Lovely appetising breakfasts on an eat as much as you like buffet breakfast with cereal, continental meats, selection of breads, olives, fresh fruit, yogurts, juices tea and coffee.
Staff friendly and helpful, good selection of local attraction leaflets available in lobby. All rooms have internet access and there is a computer for use for a small charge in reception.
Couldn't recommend more.

"Simply Super"
This hotel probably doesn't need another good review, but here it is anyway.
Charming staff- extremely helpful-- we came down at 4:30 a.m. to catch an early flight and found our taxi had already been ordered for us-- all kinds of neat things like that happened.
Our room was huge, and lovely-- we could see part of Tivoli from our window.
Great breakfasts, perfect location-- Tivoli gardens was 5 minutes away and as wonderful as ever.
Cannot wait to go back !
