Luxurious joy
My god! Days Hotel London North should be built up for luxury and pleasure. Spacious and clean rooms, and also it looks like recently refurnished. After a perfect night sleep in big and comfortable beds, an excellent breakfast is awaiting you in a smooth breakfast area. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a luxurious joy in London. |

Days Inn London North
I was very surprised when I stayed at this hotel, the quality and condition of the rooms is top notch. If I book far enough in advance I can get a room for £24 through GTA! This is an incredible price for this hotel. The rooms are large and very clean, the staff is very helpfull and there is a bar and restaurant located here. A great place to stay if you are using it for a base for work but maybe a bit far out from the city centre. I think there is a tube station just a five minute drive away. Would highly recomment this to anyone, businessmen to a families...although would rather not have the families and their screaming children next to my room!! |

Perfect stay
SHORT & SWEET:
Value for money - good bfast & service but difficult to reach unless you have a car.
DETAILED REVIEW:
We stayed at the hotel for around 4 nights, and the stay was absolutely fantastic. Prior to booking I had read some reviews but I wasn't quite sure whether it was possible that a hotel could really be so pleasant at such low prices. However, like most of the travellers staying at Days Hotel, we are very satisfied with the service, the room, the breakfast and staff.
The room was very cosy, nice, not so spacious but still very comfortable. The bed was very comfy too, however pillows were too thin, but the receptionist kindly provided us with some more. The bathroom was always very clean, new towels daily and body wash & shampoo are provided by the hotel.
The buffet breakfast was very good, except for the mushroom which were at times very salty. The bfast included (apart from the traditional sausages, bacon, etc) fresh fruit and fruit salad, different types of cheese and cereals.
DRAWBACKS:
The persons I stayed with complained that they couldn't sleep because the traffic noise was too loud. Personally, however, I slept very well, and didn't hear any traffic sounds even though my bed was exactly near the window.
Another drawback is that it is difficult to reach the hotel unless you hire a car. Although we printed out a map, it still took us some time to figure out how to get there. For those who do have a car, there are plenty of parking spaces, and the parking is just in front of the main door, so if you have any heavy luggages, it won't be a problem.
Another small hiccup was that there we very few hangers, and no pressers for clothes... so if you're planning on staying for a couple of nights, don't wash your clothes like we did!

Definitely Great Value for money !!
Friendly reception and helpful staff. Clean...clean...clean and hotel and spacious rooms. Very quiet and peaceful location for weary travellers. Breakfast menu..not too bad-loved the grilled mushrooms though!
Only One bad point : Hotel mgt wont allow minicabs to pick customer up from hotel entrance. I was heavily pregnant last september and had to walk all the way to the back road with my luggages to meet up with the minicab driver...not very pleasant. |

"Good choice for M1 travellers"
We chose to stay at this hotel after reading TripAdvisor reviews, both good and bad, and were pleasantly surprised. The staff were friendly and helpful, whatever their nationality. Breakfast was very good and fresh and the dining room was kept clean all the time. The bedroom was clean, well-equipped and comfortable and the bathroom was fine, except for the difficult-to-use soap mentioned before but that's a minor problem. The location is good if you don't mind driving for fifteen to twenty minutes to the nearest Tube station (Edgware, Mill Hill or Stanmore). We were worried about the car but we've had our vehicle damaged in France outside a hotel so it's likely to happen anywhere. We would definitely stay at the Days Hotel again.

"Great Place! Suprised!"
This place is beautiful. I stayed there for 4 nights and was extremely pleased with my stay.
Its very new and modern, you can tell when you walk in. The eastern European staff are very helpful, no complaints. I will say i am very low maintenance, and it was just me by myself....I did not stay for any breakfasts, or need to use the wifi connection so I cant comment on any of those type of extras.
But the single room comes with 2 twin beds together..great!
The rooms are very clean, very big, and modern. Bathroom was amazing (better than mine at home) and plenty of clean towels and linen.
Just the size and how modern the place was really suprised me.
But a warning..it is ONLY accessible off the M1 motorway...so if you dont have a car, it would be pretty akward getting there and going anywhere during your stay....hotel provides free parking so its ok.
And the guy who had his car broken into...he looked like he was parked in the rest stop parking area, around the other side of the hotel, there is parking exclusively for hotel guests (and there is a security guard posted out there at night) I mean there are BMW's, Mercedes and God knows what else parked in the lot, i felt very safe parking my rented Nissan there.
And I couldnt hear any traffic noise from the motorway...also supposedly theres a rail line that passes right behind it, and i didnt hear that a single time.
I was there to just sightsee around London, so it was great as from the hotel, you just get on the M1 for a few minutes, off at the first exit, and a short drive to the mill hill or finchley underground stations (its 2.50 pounds to park your car there for the day...cheap)....maybe a 20 minute drive in total. and a 30 or so minute underground ride to the heart of london.
Theres a nice looking restaurant at the lobby area, and a nice looking bar with plasma TV's.
The rest stop next door is also pretty convenient...you can pick up toiletry items, snacks, magazines, etc theres also a burger king, and another restuarant where you can order more traditional english food (lamb shank for dinner, full english hot breakfast) also a mobile phone store where i picked up a UK sim card and phone charger which i forgot to pack.
So if you have a car, pick up a road map so you can find the underground stations and stay in this hotel!!

GREAT HOTEL!!
This is a brilliant hotel!! Great food, fantastic little bar and all the sky sports channels for your football desires! i stayed here long term and the staff couldn't be more helpful! Moreover, clean rooms, great bathrooms and lots of parking! DON'T be put off with the hotel being next to the M1 and also next to the railway, with the thick windows in the rooms you hardly hear a thing! a home from home! very happy |

days hotel
It maybe next to the M1 but hotel is set back from the motorway and thick windows also make it a quiet night, i actually see it as a bonus.
The restaurant makes very good dinners. There is a nice little bar, sky channels in room and really friendly staff. |

impressive
It was very hard for me to find a hotel for my family in London. I have baby and my wife is very sensitive on cleaning and wide rooms.
I found Days Inn hotel on the internet and read the user reviews. When I arrived the hotel I saw that "yes it is realy good". Clean, and large rooms, breakfast is OK and the staff were cheerful.
There is one negative point that, the windows of the non-smoking rooms are locked and impossible to open. I think is an precoution to prevent the smoking in the room. But unfortunately you can not refresh the air inside. |
