"great hotel in an excellent location"
I spent 3 days there in April 2004; I had a written confirmation on my internet booking but they did not know about it (not so fantastic arriving after 11 pm)- perhaps next time I better reconfirm by phone or fax... They solved the problem and found a room. The room was excellent and really clean. The buffet breakfast on the 7-floor was excellent - with a view over city and park. The staff was friendly and had no problems to communicate in Russian, German, English, ... The location of the hotel could not be better. Nex time I come again!

"Great Place"
I stayed there for business in April 2005 and was not disappointd by Hotel de Rome. The hotel is extremely well located at the entrance of the old town. Rooms are fine with a big bathroom.
The restaurant is outstanding with also a good breakfast.
I strongly recommend this hotel.

"Very nice hotel, clean and a great location"
I've been there the second time for 2 nights. The rooms a very nice and clean, nice bathrooms, good breakfast. The staff at breakfast could be faster but that's the only negative thing.
The location is great! You can walk throught the whole old city of riga, very close to restaurants, bars, night clubs, ...
Whenever I go back to Riga, I'll stay there.
