"WOW!"
This hotel is absolutely outstanding.
The rooms are exceptionally spacious, clean and comfortable.
The look inside the rooms is kind of 'antique' with cherry oak furniture in the room I was in.
The staff are wonderful, courteous and extreamly helpful.
They will not be caught acting unprofessional or not being accomodating.
Overall, this is an exceptional place to stay.

"Spectacular property. Must see!"
This charming old hotel is absolutely stunning inside and out. Beautiful architecture and decor and top notch dining. When staying in Saskatoon, definately try the Delta Bessborough...it's worth a trip to Saskatoon on its own.

"Grand hotel"
We stayed for three nights (two rooms) in July 05. This was our second visit, our first having been in summer 2003. All our room requirements were met, and we found the rooms clean, comfortable and well-equipped. They do have a slightly old-fashioned feel, but this is part of the charm of this rather grand hotel! The pool area is pleasant, and the hotel has nice gardens facing the river at the back, while also being well placed for the city centre.

Deserves its reputation
The 'Bess' is one of those places that excude class when you walk into the lobby. We stay at the hotel on a fairly regular basis. The rooms are very nicely appointed and each one we have stayed in has been different in size and furniture. Standard rooms are on the street side which gives a great view of the downtown lights in the winter.The Bess has an excellent anniversary deal where your room rate matches the year you got married.
Since the hotel is downtown, there are a number of good restaurants in very close proximity, no need for cabs or designated drivers even in poor weather. The Japanese restaurant in the hotel is a fun experience. |
