"We love it!"
Stayed for 2 nights, 5-19 & 5-20, 2007, booked thru AAA for $85 + GST / night (Can't beat the price!!). Excellent facility, staff, and room. Very comfy bed and beddings. Everything is of best quality, including cups, toiletries, towels, carpet, etc. Very good gift shop. Heard from locals that the Sunday brunch at the hotel is good but we never get to try it. Just steps away from Calgary Chinatown which means "good food" to us. Try the Chinese restaurant on the NE corner of Centre St. & 4th Ave./St. (sorry forgot the English name of it). It's on 2/F with window seating. Very good Chinese Cantonese cuisine. Lots of non-Chinese diners. Walking distance to Prince Island, lots of park areas, Calgary downtown and financial district, Eau Claire Market. Just 1 area which needed upgrade is the garage: dim, crowded, hard to navigate, narrow. The elevator from the garage to the hotel lobby was like a freight elevator. Had some difficulties carrying out luggage through the narrow double doors to reach the elevator! Note: if garage is closed and you are a registered guest, beeped them and they will give you a password to key-in (which they change daily for security). $11 CAD /day for parking, for registered hotel guests only.

"Amazing hotel, great start to a trip!"
We used this hotel as a stop off before we travelled to Banff. The hotel is so easy to find and about 10mins from the airport. The hotel was clean, comfortable and all the staff were very helpful. The rooms were wonderful with a huge bed and excellent room service after a long flight. The hotel was in a good location to see some of Calgary, but the area was very quiet after dark. As we only had a short stay we did not experience housekeeping etc, but overall the hotel was a great start to our trip with all the amenities you need.

"High Quality Accomodations; Great Customer Service"
Just came back from a wonderful 3-night stay at the Delta Bow Valley. This hotel has nearly completed renovating all rooms - we were in one of those rooms and they have done a terrific job with the improvements. Although some rooms were still being renovated there was no evidence of the work being performed - which meant quiet nights and no inconveniences. This hotel has everything you need to enhance and enjoy your stay. The exercise room has newer equipment and is available 24/7. The pool and hot tub are well maintained and clean. Food service is very good - high quality and good value. The downtown location means everything is close by - whether that is business, the Calgary Zoo, Saddledome, China Town or the night life, it is all just a short distance away. What truly makes this hotel special is the customer focus. It is clear this hotel benefits from strong leadership from the top down - all employees have the same desire to please the customer. There is no question they want you to enjoy your stay so that you become a return customer. We'll definitely be one of those returning customers.

"Excellent Service Makes the Difference"
The personalized service made us feel very welcome by the staff. Many of them got to know our names during our five day stay, but beyond that, they presented a standard of excellence that made us want to return to the Delta Bow Valley when we go back to Calgary. Our experience with the hotel's food was very good, and certainly reinforced our impression of the hotel. Two thumbs-up, and an unqualified recommendation.

"Great staff, good location, comfy rooms"
We were happy to find a great rate for this hotel on Expedia. And when we checked in, ahhh, nothing like throwing open those curtains and seeing the view of the river from the 14th floor. The king bed was comfy, the room was clean and comfortable, the staff was friendly - what more could you want? Well, ok, the TV is a bit small (or do I just need glasses?), and they should put a minifridge into that huge armoire (there's even an empty spot for it!). The hotel feels a tiny bit like a business hotel, but definitely a nice one, and no one snooted at me for being a Calgary tourist. I would not have a problem staying there again, if I could get that great weekend rate as well ;-)

"Service At It's Best"
My wife and I cannot say enough about the friendliness of the staff especially the bellman. They were extremely helpful and friendly. The Hotel's beds are great, no sore backs here. I would certainly strongly recommend this hotel to any traveler. The hot tub and pool were nice touches after a long day of travel

"Fantastic"
This hotel was fantastic - in a really good location in downtown Calgary. The rooms were really clean, and the staff were very helpful. The hotel pool and jacuzzi was a real plus. Would definitely recommed this place for value for money.

"Excellent city hotel"
We had previously stayed at the Delta Bow Valley two years ago (for one night) and returned again in July 2005 (for four nights, two rooms). All our room requirements were met, and we found the rooms clean, comfortable and well-equipped. There seem to be good views of the city from all aspects. The restaurant was very good, and the buffet breakfasts were excellent. Staff were pleasant and helpful. For a city hotel, we also thought the pool area was good.

"Magnificent hotel at magnificent price!!"
We stayed there for 2 days in August for the start of our honeymoon tour to Canada. Because we stayed during the weekend we got a ridiculously cheap rate through Expedia, paying around 30GBP a night. The hotel is very clean and tidy and the room we stayed in was quite modern and spacious. The breakfasts, which we paid extra for, were very good with a large choice and the wait staff were friendly and provided keen service. The pool and hot spa are included in the price and are worth a visit. The hotel is situated only a 5-10 minute walk from the main hustle and bustle of Calgary, so it cannot be faulted for location either. If you ever visit Calgary for a weekend I would recommend this hotel unconditionally.

"Really Good Hotel"
Stayed here 1 night September 18 2005. Really good hotel with very helpful staff and excellent rooms. Good location for Chinatown and 7 blocks (10 mins) from Tower and Museum. I would definitely return here next time I was in Calgary. Plenty of airline staff stay here and they know how to pick a good hotel!

"Delta Delight!"
Stayed at The Delta Bow Valley for one night. Arrived at 10:30 am from Banff, and could hardly believe our luck when my mother and I were able to check in immediately. Living and working in Banff, I know how difficult it can be for housekeepers to have an available room that early in the morning. Pam at f/d was very helpful, as was Colin on the concierge desk, who was able to get us all the information we needed for getting around town on a Sunday. As we were staying at the Palliser the next night, we were concerned about having to cart our luggage all around town until we could check in, but the staff were able to hold our bags until that afternoon. I definitely recommend the Delta Bow Valley for any of your needs, pleasure or otherwise.
