Well I don't know where the other reviewers stayed but I was at this hotel last week and I had only positive experiences. The hotel is central, economically priced and the staff were always helpful (making us coffee at 2am already!). There is a small bar which was at our disposal and you can have breakfast for a fee, located on a terrace at the back. Our room was absolutely fine, but admittedly there were three of us in our group and so we had a suite (#311) between us and therefore I can't speak for the smaller rooms. Hot water worked fine; the hotel was clean and quiet. Car parking was cheap. I will definitely be staying at this hotel again when I revisit Lille in a few months. The only slight problem we had was the directions on the hotel website, which weren't great. If you are driving you will need a good streetmap as well (but if you are driving in a new city, wouldn't you take that anyway?)
