"An oasis of bygone years"
From the minute we arrived after an exhausting train journey from Praha, we knew we had made the right choice of stoping over in this Beautifull City. The hotel was stunning, and the room we had room 215, over looked the Danube. The room was medium size, very comfortable beds and decor was very well maintained. The style of the hotel was of a bygone age, large chandliers, marble staircase with its red carpet and all very well maintained. The breakfast buffet was a real treat, large excellent variety for all. I really liked the booths either side and the large white globed chandliers.
The service in the restaurant was excellent at all times and nothing was to much bother. The hotel is situated just along the danube, behind the old town. Within 2 minutes you are outside the Carlton, hotel. The town is very well kept and felt very safe walking around at night. Great selection of restaurants and out favourite was Tempus Fugit, Italian style. The beer is GREAT and very cheap, go exploring down the side streets, as you will fine some great bars, restaurants and quaint little shops. Cannot wait to return again .. very soon.

"Good Hotel For Business Or City Break"
I stayed in this hotel while in Bratislava for a business trip for 3 nights. The hotel is in a great location within the old town of Bratislava and most things worth visiting in the city are within walking distance. The staff were helpful and corteous. The hotel itself seemed quite old but had a good bit of character. My room was average by todays standards. The furnishings and bed were dated. The lobby, bar and dining room area were all very nice and breakfast was good. I never had any meals in the hotel apart from breakfast so I can't comment anymore on the food. I did have a couple of really nice meals out and about in Bratislava. One in particular stood out. The restaurant was located in the main square across from the Radisson Hotel. The decor inside the restaurant was very luxurious and the service, menu and wine list were 1st class.

"We liked the Devin"
Our experience (three nights) at the Hotel Devin was entirely positive. On the fourth floor, we had a tiny balcony with a large view of the Danube - especially nice at night. A short block in the other direction took us into the 'Old Town'. Our room was quiet although at times the a/c system would draw smoke in from nearby rooms. This problem was solved by sleeping with the balcony door open. We had an excellent (included) breakfast of very good food including pastries and cheeses. We found the front desk to be helpful and our personal laundry was done very nicely.
