"Brilliant!"
We visited Disneyland Paris at the beginning of November, just in time for the final Bonfire Spectacular and the start of the Christmas season!
We travelled in standard class on the eurostar which was comfortable, however we did not book the Disney Express Check In and had to take our bags to the hotel via bus when we arrived! We caught a bus outside the station which we didnt have to wait very long for, and arrived at our hotel to see lots of wonderful christmas wreaths and decorations! Check in took minutes, although we stayed in the main hotel building it seemed quite a walk to our room! The room was excellent, more than adequate for two people, although later that night we discovered that a window was open when it should have been shut (we were on the ground floor), however the staff were very helpful and came to fix the window straightaway.
There were long queues for breakfast but these seemed to move along quite quickly, the range of food was ok, although you had to pay if you wanted hot meals. The shop in the hotel was good selling snacks, drinks and most things you could need! The hotel was just a short walk from the parks and Disney Village. Would definately stay there again!
The parks were brillaint, the only thing that was a disappointment was the range and price of the food, we were only able to find burgers, hot dogs, crisps etc which were very expensive. There were other restaurants but these were also very pricey!

"Sequoia Lodge - really fantastic"
We stayed at Sequoia Lodge from the 16th-20th December '05. We completely loved it!!! It is an amazing-looking hotel, set amongst beautiful green trees, overlooking Lake Disney. It is in a prime situation, only 10 minutes or less walk to the parks and Downtown Disney, but also has the addes extra of the 'Minnie Train', which caters for those who would prefer not to walk [I believe this is 2 euros, and runs very frequently].
The breakfast choices are given at check-in, and depending on your length of stay, will also be given again during your stay. TIP: try to get an earlier breakfast, than later - this gives you no lines whatsoever in the 2 breakfast restaurants, and time to relax if you are waiting for the parks to open. A really great feature of the hotel is the character meetandgreet that is available everyday. Pictures are posted on the ground floor of what character will be appearing - they come in 1/2 hour slots. If you choose an earlier breakfast, it means you can line up right at 8am for the first character with no fuss at all. We did not have to wait at all. This is better than waiting, and dealing with unfriendly queue-jumping later!!!
There are several buildings with rooms in them, but the most convenient is to stay in the main building - you can request this on checkin and they will accomodate free-of-charge.
My final tip is to also request a Good Morning Fantasyland breakfast, which is free, and allows you to enter the park an hour before all other guests. It really is a fantastic way to start the day, and is a great way to get to the front of many attraction lines.
I won't talk about the food - it has been discussed a little too much I find on here - but needless to say I always found something delicious to eat throughout my stay. You must bear in mind it is a themepark you are in, not a 5-star city restaurant.
I loved my stay at Disneyland Paris, and staying at the Sequoia Lodge was a big part of my enjoyment. I would definitely stay there again.
