Dolder Grand Hotel was built at the turn of the century and is an imposing landmark in the city. Set within its own park in a residential area, it is the only hotel in the city limits with its own golf course. Being only six to ten minutes from downtown, it is very much a city hotel, but has a relaxed resort atmosphere.

During the summer, guests enjoy swimming, golf, tennis and scenic jogging. In winter, there's ice-skating and the European sport known as curling. All rooms are decorated in a warm, traditional style and complete with all up-to-date amenities and comforts to ensure a memorable stay.

The hotel's fabulous restaurant is decorated in grand style with huge windows the length of one side of the room overlooking the golf course. Elegant furniture compliements the tasteful decor.

The lobby is large and predictably grand with antique furniture and beautiful rugs on the polished marble floor. Truly a legend in Switzerland the hotel should live up to its reputation. An excellent choice for the discerning traveller.

Dolder Grand Hotel is located just outside Zurich's vibrant town centre up on a wooded hillside overlooking both Zurich and the lake.

ROOM AMENITIES

* The 163 rooms vary rather in size, but all are very large. The hotel has a modern wing where all the rooms are the same whilst in the main part of the hotel they vary in style somewhat. All rooms are luxuriously furnished with mainly pale pastel colourschemes. Many enjoy fabulous views over the surrounding countryside and the hotel's own golf course. Naturally both the rooms and their bathrooms are in exceptional condition.

CANCELLATION POLICY

1. No penalty for cancellations up to the defined cancellation deadline of this hotel.
2. Cancellations made within the cancellation deadline will be assessed a 1 night room rate unless cancellation policy is defined different.
3. No-shows will be assessed a 1 night room rate unless cancellation policy is defined different.
4. No cancellations on or after check-in date.
