Enjoying fabulous views over Machico Bay, this hotel is centrally located at the heart of the tourist centre of Machico (Funchal) some 50 m from the beach. Various commercial areas with shops, boutiques, bars and restaurants are to be found in the vicinity and there are many excellent walking trails to be found close by making this an ideal stopover point for those wishing to explore the local area. It is just a short walk, for example, from the historical fishing village of Machico and links to the public transport network equally lie within walking distance. The nearest airport is just 5 km away.

The club hotel comprises a 7-storey main building as well as a 3-floor annexe block featuring 218 double rooms. Guests may make use of the foyer with 24-hour reception desk, a safe, a currency exchange facility, cloakroom and lift. In addition, there are several shops, a hairdresser's salon, a cafe, a bar, a TV room, a games room and an air-conditioned restaurant with a non-smoking area and highchairs for infants on offer to guests.
