amazing value hotel thankyou gta hotels for getting us a fantastic deal for this hotel.although the hotel is a bit far from the city,the underground transport is directly behind the hotel.for a few pence if you take the A line you will arrive at the oldtown in 5 stops.the staff are very helpful and friendly,the rooms are clean and comfortable and the foyer and staircase are very impressive.breakfast was a bit disappointing(the hot food was cold) but there was a good selection of fresh fruit,breads etc.the hotel gave us a free upgrade and passes to the wellness centre as we were celebrating our mothers birthday.i would definitely book through gta hotels again.i had researched a lot of sites and they were by far the best value and excellent service.prague is a wonderful city i cant wait to go back.

"Spot on - what a find!" Just got back from a stag weekend in Prague, and may be able to save any other "staggers" a lot of trawling through the net.. As a very conscientious best man, I must have spent a good 7 hours reading reviews, advice, looking at maps of Prague for good locations etc etc. Well... save the hassle.. Book here then go get a beer out of the fridge and stop worrying. Reception is modern and efficient, with a lovely bar for everyone to meet up. Staff all speak perfect english. Check in was smooth and hassle free, as was check out. (i had a bottle of water from the mini bar when i woke up with a raging hangover, but reception said water from the mini bar was free - so fill your boots everyone! :) ) Location - The hotel is a 10 minute taxi ride from Wenceslas Square, and they had 2 brand new Peugeot 307 estates as their own "hotel taxis" - always on call waiting out the front. What was nice was they had a set price menu on full display in the entrance so there was no chance of anyone getting conned. Hotel to Wenceslas square was 300 crowns (£7.30) and Hotel to the Airport was 680 crowns (£16.50). The rooms were immaculately cleaned, very modern and very spacious. On a par with some of the better 4 star hotels in the UK to be fair. We went as a party of 8 in 4 different rooms, and for the 2 nights we got a rate of £66.25 per person per night including breakfast but none of us ever made it to so i cant comment!!! haha So - in summary, dont bother spending the amount of time i did looking. I have done all the hard work for you! Have a great time in Prague and enjoy the Don Giovanni!!!

"Super! An outstanding hotel in a sublime area." Having stayed at many hotels Worldwide and, six times in Prgue, i have to say that the Dorint Novotel Prague was one of the best. The rooms are large, very clean and well furnished. The air conditioning system is efficient and quiet. The staff are always obliging and on hand, but not intrusive. Breakfast is quite good and contains both smoked meats and cheese on a buffet and continental breakfast foods, cuh as toast and croissants. There are also many fresh pastries. It is out of town, but you don't get the smog which is improving with polution measures kicking in. The trams are safe and efficient. Steer clear of taxis, they are con artists and the tram is much safer. Go to Prague tourism to get reputable numbers. The area is quiet, but not out of the way, I suggest that you realize the tram costs about 50p each for a day pass -phenominal! The prices are a little steep, but you will not come away feeling like you have had a bad break, the hotel all in all is excellent. Really!
