Dragsvik Fjordhotell is situated on a peninsula in an area of natural beauty, Dragsvik in Balestrand by the Sognefjord. Dragsvik Fjord Hotel is a family hotel with a homely atmosphere and personal service.
In 1953 the Farnes family built a small boarding house on farmland. Today’s hosts, who are the third generation of the Farnes family, wish to preserve the intimate and cosy feel of the hotel as this is what the hotel has become known for.
Dragsvik Fjordhotell is beautifully situated beside the Sognefjord in the vast nature of Western Norway. On idyllic stretches of the fjord encircled by steep mountains you can try fishing or go on awe-inspiring walks.
The location and the natural setting are our strongest marketing advantages. It is easy to travel here by car, and at the same time enjoy peace and quiet in beautiful natural surroundings. The hotel’s central location in the middle of the Sognefjord is a very good starting point to all alternative day trips in the fjord region.
The hotel is situated on what was once a farm where the outside area is highly prioritised and is being developed as a recreational and wellbeing area in the open air.

* The establishment features different services and amenities like boat hire, bikes and many more.
* Outside car park is available.
* Fjord cabins with kitchen, shower and toilet, for 2-5 people.
All the cabins have shower/toilet and are equipped kitchenette, outside terrace and with a view towards the Fjærlandsfjord, the Jostefonn glacier and the mountainous landscape.
Two of the cabins; ‘Laksen’ and ‘Øretten’ are 35-40 m² and are more suitable for 2 people - a couple or a family with small children. These are cosy cabins with an intimate layout. The cabin ‘Ørretten’ has an open fireplace.
* Small apartments in the villa Bergtun
At this time Bergtun was gradually altered to high standard rooms – self-contained units/mini suites.
Four large and comfortable rooms are at our guests’ disposal with a new bathroom, new interior and view of the fjord. Today, one room has a kitchen for self catering and a mini kitchen has been installed in the next room.
The new rooms are characterised as light, roomy and comfortable and are particularly for couples that want to be together for several days in tranquil surroundings. All four rooms have the possibility of additional beds and are also suitable for families.
* In total there are a maximum of 75 beds and total 23 rooms.
* All rooms have a view of the fjord, mountains or glacier.
